Two of the occasional late-50s visitors to the Pogofenokee Swamp: Pig and his Parrot. They came bearing flowers and promises of reforming the swamp and cryptic, impossible-to-follow instructions for the Cowbirds. The Khrushchev Pig is maybe the fattest character I've tried drawing yet, although he's not fat enough yet. The crumpling of the shirt collars look decent to me, but my shading in the pants wasn't nearly as good as Walt Kelly's. But I think I see how he did it, too. The log isn't bad either.
