This month (May, 2010), Washington, D.C. announced a five-cent tax on each supermarket bag (paper and plastic) used per customer. But reusable bags (made of cloth) are exempt from said tax. So, when I see this picture, I feel sorry for the male kangaroo in the supermarket, wishing he was born with a pouch! =OQ|
