Filed under ‘Skin Overlays I keep forgetting to finish and share’, I finally finished fixing up my reptile/lizard skin overlay~!

It has 16 color variations total, though at least four are different shades of green, there should still be a good variety for you all to enjoy for your various lizard, snake, and dragon sims~!

:0 Why didn't I think of doing Amphibians? You're Absolutely right! Do you have any specific species in mind/suggestions? I am taking a small break from the Sims, so this could take some time but I like to keep a list handy of various species for future skin overlay projects

If it's required for your mods to work I would say it's not rude to send it privately to those who ask for it. You ought to make contact with the original mod-maker and ask, but if you don't get a reply, if it's been more than 6 months since they were seen active, I would repost the mod with credit to the original maker with a note that you'll take it down if asked. If it continues to work, there is no issue. If it breaks, and you fix it, then you are a legacy supporter and can post it without guilt.
