Yeah, tell me about it. =/ The lockdown has been tremendously boring, but we gotta live through it the same. We just need to remain patient. Eventually, this will all end, and things will be back to what it once was before this all started.

Think about how it's been for me. RNA viruses are my specialty - I even rotated in a Coronavirus lab before I got my Ph.D! But I'm sitting at home because the entire biomedical enterprise in the U.S. is so corrupt and so focused on cronyism and "scientific royalty" that I can't get a research job even in the midst of a historic pandemic... caused by an RNA virus. (I did get an interview from NYS, but it was laughably bad faith, offered no permanence, and the state gov shut down before I could refuse their offer, anyway).

All I can do is watch people die by the hundreds of thousands. I feel for you, Dr. Lyso. I really do.
