It's been quite a while since my last upload... but even though I have not been getting online and uploading very much, I have not been wasting my time! I'm working on several projects at the moment, but I just couldn't resist this! A nice little entry for
poetigress's Thursday Prompt of March 25th, 2010, which was "moonlight".
There are a couple more Mara & Celeste stories in the making! Hopefully I'll have them done soon!
As always:

Oh, excellent! Or as Cee would say, "like so totally rad". Heh. She's so adorable. And yet, her goofiness doesn't seem to mean she's full of cotton candy and dandelion fluff - as this story just displayed. I hope we see more of her romantic/semi-poetic side in the future. Although, seeing Cee and Mara together is always lovely. Either way, can't wait for the next...chapter? Scene? What do you personally refer to each of these as, Zinny? Whatever - can't wait for the next one.
*giggles*
That's what Cee would say, alright! But indeed, as silly and impulsive and bouncy and bubbly as she is, she is not a total airhead; there's actually some good working grey matter in that fuzzy cranium of hers! I'm currently working on at least three different stories with her; one for a collaboration book I'm doing with
rorschfox, one that's just fun and silly, and one that is a naughty flashback from when she was a kitten
Uhm... there's not real chapters, I suppose, just loose scenes from their lives... I haven't really given a lot of thought as to what to call it, hee! But scenes sounds like a good option^^

Very cute. I have only read some Thursday Prompt responses featuring these characters, but I rather like them.
In August the moon seems more orange and somewhat bigger than usually. It looks like it's going to drop from the sky. In wintertime, moonlight is very white, very cruel... while the sun diminishes into a tiny yellow ball that just visits above the horizon around midday, the silvery-white moon's effect is somehow even more striking. I don't know if it just the fact Finland is so far north that causes these kind of phenomena, but I felt like sharing them after reading this story.
Great little piece. Not as long as some other Mara and Cee stories I remember reading, but very good and very true to the characters nonetheless. Great work. Keep it up.

Thank you, dear. I'm glad you liked the story
That sounds like quite the sight, too! I think you're right, it might be because of Finland being more north that it makes the sun and the moon look so different. I can't remember ever having seen the moon being orange or yellow in tint in the Netherlands, it always seems white or silver-white here, but in winter it does get quite vivid. In fact, on the cold, clear nights when its totally clear and freezing, the moon can be so bright it actually blinds me
