Originally posted to my old account in May of 2016, this is a sketch of my character, Maverick -- the unfortunate result of a sadly successful experiment to hybridize a sentient being -- in this case a dakotaraptor -- with a Xenomorph in an effort to create the perfect weapon: a Xenomorph that can be reasoned with and "controlled." Although he retains his intelligence in his new form, Maverick also retains his heart and compassion for others and refuses to be controlled by the military despite their best efforts.

I have always been a HUGE fan of the Aliens films so this character truly excites me! When I get the time I'll be finishing this one up and completing the story I'm writing to go with him!
