It's Lance as a Charmander! Lancemander! (except he doesn't have his robe) That little star effect from the original lineart just called to me =P
As we all know, I can't color like awesome people, but I can do a lot of other things to make my coloring seem not as bad. In this case, gradient touches and creativity.
Yes, I drew the hat. No way in hell would I be able to make it look the same as the lineart, but hey, it doesn't seem -too- out of place, eh? And I made a background. Weird o_o
