Kingdom Hearts Union X: Afterstory Chapter 8 pt. 4
The moment Jinx started to run away from Foul Playa, Pierce and Tygris questioned him if he was going to stop her after intruding on their meeting. Foul Playa quickly eased their worries, as he took hold of the Book of Prophecies. Foul Playa placed his fingers on 5 pages, where he immediately ripped them from out of the book, and threw them into the air. Each page began to glow brightly, and started to take the form of a creature. When the glow faded, in front on them were 5 dark skinned creatures, each of them having glowing Yellow eyes and menacing grins. They were known as Darklings, pure blood Heartless that were once Keyblade wielders, but had succumb to the Darkness.
Foul Playa: Go forth Darklings! Go after that woman!
The Darklings didn't move immediately, but we're beginning to mutter words.
Darklings: ........Lux......
Tygris: What are they saying?
Darklings: Lux......
Pierce: What in the world is Lux?
Darklings: LUX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Darklings let out an eerie scream, shouting for Lux. They immediately dashed forward, destroying the doors to the office, and anything that got in their way. As the Darklings started to chase down Jinx, a dark purple cloud began to swirl above the Club Playboy building, surrounding it in an ominous darkness.
Meanwhile, near the outskirts of the City.
Inside of a house that looked abandoned in a quiet neighbourhood, a man named Lego was in the kitchen, washing the dishes. While he was washing, he was humming to himself a small tune he heard back when he was in Daybreak Town. But as he was in his own little world, his younger brother Rich came dashing into the kitchen.
Rich: Lego! Come outside! Quickly!
When Lego was snapped out of his thoughts, he turned around to see Rich, who was taking in deep breaths.
Lego: Rich? What's going on?
Rich: Come quickly. You have to see this!
Rich ran out of the kitchen, which made Lego drop the plate back into the water-filled sink, as he followed him. He followed Rich to the front of the house, where Jaymee and Abigail were standing outside, looking up at the sky.
Rich: Take a look up at the sky, deep into the city. Is that what I think it is?
Lego looked at where Rich was pointing to, where he saw a familiar shroud of dark clouds forming together on top of a specific area.
Lego: This is not good. If someone is able to channel darkness of that magnitude, they must be very powerful!
Rich: What should we do?
Lego: There's only one thing we can do. We have to go there and investigate who is responsible! Let's go everyone!
Back at Club Bunny.
Down at the stairwell, Jinx was running as fast as she possibly could down the stairs, all while hearing a loud noise coming from back at the top of the stairs. Hearing this made Jinx want to run faster, but she couldn't unless she wanted to take the chance at tripping down the stairs in her heels. As Jinx made it down to the 3rd Floor, she could hear the noises getting louder and louder. This made Jinx turn around to see what was pursuing her. When she did, she was filled with instant fear. Behind her was a dark skinned creatures with red claws and glowing yellow eyes. But it wasn't alone, as she saw it was accompanied by 4 more of its companions that looked exactly like it. When Jinx saw the creatures, she knew exactly what they were. They were Darklings. Heartless that were once Keyblade Wielders that had succumbed to Darkness. Jinx continued to run, while thoughts in her mind were racing.
'Why are the Darklings here?! Did that Duck guy summon them?! There's a lot that needs to be answered for!'
Jinx made it to the second floor, while she dodged an attack after one of the Darklings lunged at her. As Jinx made it to the last set of stairs, she reached the bottom of the stairs, and slid across the floor, causing her to hit the wall with her left side. Jinx quickly recovered from hitting the wall, and continued to run. She continued to run until she made it to the backstage of the Club, where she saw Woods, AJ, Toppy, and Amani taking a break from dancing on the stage. As Jinx continued to run, the loud noise her heels were making caught Toppy and the others' attention.
Woods: Jinx, what's wrong? What's with the running for?
Jinx: Everyone! We have to get out of here now!
AJ: Why? What's going on?
Jinx: Don't ask questions now! Just go!
As Jinx ran out of the backstage area, Woods, AJ, Toppy, and Amani found out why she told them to run. The moment Jinx ran out off the backstage area, 5 Darkling creatures appeared, causing the girls to panic and run for their lives.
Woods: Darklings?! Why are they here?!
AJ: Don't know! But we can't fight them in a small area like this! We have to get out of here!
Toppy: Get them away from me!
As Toppy started to run away with Woods, AJ, and Jinx, she took hold of Amani's arm, doing her best to make her catch up to the others. As they began to run away, the Darklings began to destroy all of the chairs and furniture that was at the backstage area.

Wow, great image, I love the sense of motion, especially from the way their feet are blurred, really gives the impression they are running, further accented by the various action and bounce lines. And I love their expressions, especially Toppy's, marvelously done. The Darklings looks really fearsome, the glow of their eyes is great, very menacing. Great story portion for this, looks like it all just hit the fan in this one,... run girls, faster!
This really was a great image done :) . Though I'm pretty sure Jinx, AJ and Woods were hoping that they could fight those Darklings. But seeing as how many there are, and having to protect two people who cannot fend for themselves, all they can only do is run for their lives. But the real question is, what will happen next?
