I don’t have any new drawings to show, so here’s something I drew a few months ago for my packaging design class. The assignment was to create an advertisement for a made up product. In 2015 I had to do a similar project, so I used the same idea.

I made an advertisement for a fictional company that creates genetically engineered hybrid animals. This creature is their top seller: Die eierlegende Wollmilchsau! It’s a German saying for an all-rounder that can be translated as “egg-laying wool milk sow”.

This weird hybrid was drawn at school on my Android tablet within about two hours. I didn’t put too much effort into it and used the same design that I made up years ago. The background was later added in Photoshop. My finished poster has words on it, but I don’t think they are necessary here. The creature is supposed to look a bit creepy to hint at the irony. I really hope it will never become a reality because that’s definitely animal abuse.
