Game Design is Hard

So, I've recently been making courses in Super Mario Maker 2 to create my own Super World, and I've discovered something... somewhat obvious.
DESIGNING GOOD LEVELS IS VERY, VERY DIFFICULT.
Honestly, most of the levels I make are entirely forgettable at worst, and astoundingly average at best. I can't make good levels for the life of me...
and that's okay.
I still have a lot of fun with Mario Maker, whether it be from coming up with weird ideas or playing other people's levels, and it's still a fantastic game regardless. Here's hoping I can make more substantial courses in the near future, lmfao

People who manage to crank out really good courses like clockwork is crazy to me.

I think Yamamura's Dojo might help you with some tips on Level Design
