Doing more with spot art from Ten Ever-Lovin' Blue-Eyed Years With Pogo. This caterpillar I don't think was associated with any particular poem or moment. But it seemed a good chance to draw something outside the usual run of characters and bodies, and gave me the chance to try drawing way more legs than usual. Also I was attracted to a character that's partway in a cart, which is the sort of fun needless detail that Walt Kelly seemed to do instinctively. The original picture had spikey bits of fur all along the caterpillar's body, rather than smooth outlines. I didn't feel confident enough in my abilities to make his while body spikes of fur.
