Hmmm, possibly use a heel and ankle to lock Vale's knee and lock it straight. At the very least that'd help keep him from being able to pound. Vale put himself in a pretty good position, with the location of the bobcat's legs he can't twist and get face down where he could curl up like a turtle!
Only other thing I could reccomend to the bobcat is get to pull Vale in, he can't get torque on those punches if he got pulled in too close.
