in the Lovecraft inspired story i have been writing off and on this is the Deep One guardian in the mineshaft near Big Rock park in New Brighton. He guards the temple (such as it is) of Nb'yth who is represented on the wall by a giant cluster of Iron Pyrite crystals. Worship of Nb'yth has fallen off in recent years even amoung the supernatural beings of the area including the small tribe of fresh water Deep Ones. Mostly forgotten the temple lies in ruins most of the supporting beams having rotted through and much of the once grand designs being erased by mineral deposits and time.
This Deep One still keeps the altar and crystals clean and has been here an awfully long time. as such he has for a Deep One gone a little soft. he seems desperate for company since no one of even his own tribe comes to him anymore since they have fallen for the more modern times and conveniences and the traps therein. as such the likely hood of being killed even as a sacrifice to Nb'yth is almost nil. However he has no sense of personal boundaries and may indeed force you into coupling. (he is a randy fellow!)
The Dagger floating over the Altar engulfed in flames (which would be the same colour as burning copper and bronze as in flickering blueish green) is an ancient artifact of Unknown origin (except to the man in black possibly) it is intelligent and and can cause you to take actions one would not normally do. also it tends to chose it's owner. In the story where it is myself who became the unfortunate owner of the "blade" it has allowed me to keep my mind through all the horror and seems to be leading me to some place (though even i do not know even as i write it where it will go really)
