Yet another fantastic movie poster made by the wonderful
!
I always enjoy commissioning marymouse because she always creates such wonderful images and some of which can be quite entertaining. So here is another fine example of what she can do!
A little bit about this: This past February I noticed that I would reach 10,000 page views and figured I should probably have something made to mark the occasion. So I thought about it a little and figured that marymouse would be the best person to have create such a pic. Then I had to decide what exactly it would be and eventually settled on a movie poster. So I picked out a real classic, black & white B-movie titled, The Feasox from 10,000 Leagues.
I found it the perfect movie to use to celebrate the milestone since it already had "10,000" in the title and would be the most fun way to mark the occasion. All that was needed was the necessary cast of characters. Of course I would be one of the cast members, and in case you haven't noticed already, furlop has always been in each drawing that marymouse has done for me. So his inclusion was a given. All that was needed was the final spot. One who would best represent the "Phantom."
After considering it for a moment I decided to see if a certain feasox would be keen to the idea for inclusion. So marymouse approached him with the question of being included in a 3 character commission from me and without even wanting to know about the details of it he agreed. In the end, I'm pleased that jaggers chose to go along with it, because I feel it really added more to the fun, humorous nature of the image's idea. Thank you very much for saying yes jaggers and for being such a good sport too!
