If you start the story about Galka, it is worth noting that she had a fairly biased attitude towards her father. She believed that he was just a coward who lacked the courage to return to the forests forever and be a real wolf, and not some kind of mongrel with a biped .Oh, this youthful maximalism.
She accused him of losing his sister and mother, who had disappeared without a trace after meeting with a man; she blamed everything on him for these ugly creatures; she wanted to imitate her mother, as Galka remembered her as an independent and free, real wolf, who was not an obstacle to fear. But in reality, everything was different. The father protected his child from unnecessary information, did not want to hurt her heart and disappoint her mother.
Janay was gentle in nature, not aggressive and understanding. He taught his daughter the wisdom of life, and although they lived near a man, his father and his daughter went to the forest to teach her how to hunt and adapt to the outside world. During the summer, they completely left into the woods, which Galka was delighted with. He was patient with his daughter's yapping, realizing her disappointment in family relations. He was also bitter, but he tried not to think about it and completely devoted himself to raising his daughter.
They lived under the wing of a herbalist with his wife. A man and a woman often helped the sick animal, as they helped Janay and his mother. The she-wolf had problems with her paws when they found her wounded with a little wolf. She found refuge in a crevice near the human house where the blades of grass went to feed her until she was cured. Mom reacted aggressively to human help, although she accepted the food she was given, since she was unable to walk for a long time. And little Janay I got used to human society and was not afraid of herbalists, often sat near the porch of their house, walked with them to the nearest fields.
Time flowed and the wolf’s health went on well. She was already not so categorical towards these people, but kept away from them. Together with Dzhanay they left this place, but in the hungry months, as at the call of the heart / stomach: D /, returned to the blades of grass, so as not to die in the winter cold. It so happened that in the summer they lived in the forest, and in the winter near the human refuge.
So passed about 3 years of life Dzhanay, until he broke up with his mother who departed to another world.
And by the end of the next season, he wandered to the herbalists no longer with a stately gray she-wolf, but with a small black ball of wool that was trembling from the cold on a chilly autumn day.
