Heh. From my current WIP:
“Well, her last letter did say she was bringing her parents along, so it would be polite to meet them. Let’s go, but remember to stay out from underfoot.” He grinned. “Especially when Dame Sally is involved. She can leave footprints in solid rock.”
“You’re exaggerating again, dear.”
“Not by much. She -does- leave claw marks. Says her claws are made of something she calls ‘tool steel’.”
