I had complained about canines (mainly wolves) with their long and angular snouts and how I apparently couldn't draw them very well, when my friend
was like "That's why I'm a Pibble and why I like to draw them. Short muzzles."
Sooooo I begged a picture from him of his dog, Brando. I got one, and here it is in all it's glory. xD It's not that great, but I think its better than the wolf I did earlier. XDD
Anyhow, here's the ref picture to compair it to.

I love his people-lip <3
TJ came in to see what I was doing when it was just a sketch, and was like "Thats now how a dogs lips look..." and I stared at him, and brought up the picture I was using as refrence. He looked at it and his eyes got bigger and he said "Oh... wow..."
I laughed for a million years. xD
But I'm glad you like it. ^^;

Actually... yes to the upside down thing, no to the negative space thing. I turned a picture upside down and tried to draw it... I felt like I was drawing some abstract piece and it looked terrible! Haha
I might try the negative space sometime though... Never thought about that. Thankies, Tanuk~ ^-^
