This is a request made by
NES1300 who requested that I draw his fursona. I started on this for a few reasons. One is that Xbuimonsama's request is taking time to do and research for what he asked for. Second, the next one is the same with the one afterward a bonus to work on (if I feel like it due to the nature of the next request). Third is that I have forgotten the nature of the request of Furrywriter (likewise on his side, LOL). And lastly Easter is coming up and would be a good chance to draw a bunny (or rabbit) to, in a sense, kill two birds with one stone, by making an Easter picture as well as a request. Not sure how to phrase it since NES1300 wields a scythe. LOL. ^\/^.
The scythe looked heavy with the broad end and, instead of erasing what I found to be a nice curve on both sides, I made sense of it by making holes in the end to make it seem lighter at that end. I also originally wanted the bottom end to curve behind the lower leg, but that didn't look right and the shaft would be much too curved to seem practical. Instead I made an ornamental end that doubles as halberd style fan blade. Makes it look nicer too. LOL. ^\/^.
I got the idea for the side cape from one of NES1300s pictures found at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2208292/ which also gave me the idea for the pose. I have been meaning to do a picture with a character with a side cape as well as a layered one and, as such, I did both to save time and add a bit of fantasy elegance and such. To help make it attach better with the armor having two pauldrons, I drew in another end of the cape to make it seem like the cape is triangular in shape with one end attached to the left side and wrapping around the back and over the right shoulder. It not only balances both sides out but makes the cape seem more awesome that way. LOL. ^\/^.
I designed the armor on NES1300 to seem like a character from D. Dan's world by making him a knight as well, but from a different city and school. As such, it gave me an opportunity to do a different armor than the one I have doing for a while for D. Dan. As much as I like my character it tends to get boring when I am doing the same armor all the time. LOL. ^\/^.
