We have stumbled onto The Plot. XD; Honestly, I was surprised at the game for having a plot to speak of. I kind of expected it just to be a dating sim where you messed around in school and kissed whoever, but it gets pretty serious at some points.
And yeah, she’s feeling more confident now that she’s got a bargaining chip. Before, it would only just be inconvenient if something happened to her; now, she can actually make Mammon do things.
OMG the angels in Disgaea are frequently the worst. I play the Shin Megami Tensei series and, while they’re not technically “bad”, they’re very much about order - and punishing people who don’t obey that order. So, I appreciate that. I mostly just want to hit Luke with a fly swatter, though. :/
