I drew this up originally for Mirage Studios when they did a comic called 'Grunts' back in 1985. I used my old syndicated comic strip character, Hoss Williams, as I had him in Vietnam in 1971 in the strip Muddflatt.
This was true old school project. Done on 11x!7 paper, with pen and ink. Nothing was even thought of computer usage in those days.
flinters thinks I should share this all with you, that it will be a popular thing to read. I say it won't have huge hits. So we'll see who's right.
