So I've been fooling around a bit more with SAI, and I've been using it as an excuse to tinker with some preliminary concept art for the Scorch Sisters. I'm liking this direction with the general body shape of the female reptilians (no clue what I'll actually call the species, Draxi maybe?); it feels less clunky than the original.

Still very much a work in progress, not even close to being finished but I liked the direction this was heading so much I had to share.
