This is for anyone who views this picture!

As we go through our various relationships and activities, people are quick to remind us of our failures, flaws, and the things we do wrong. It is rare in this day and age to say thank you for being you, to show or tell someone they are appreciated, or really support them in their efforts.

It's always the same excuse I hear. "They know I appreciate .." this that or the other thing. "They know I love..." this that or the other thing. What we as a society are failing to remember is what it feels like to be told or really shown that we are appreciated, adored, or even loved.

I challenge everyone who sees this, and reads this, to start taking a few minutes every couple of days to tell or show someone that you really appreciate them, or love them, not just because they did something specific that day. I challenge you to do it when it doesn't make 'sense' to say "Thank you for being here for me," "Thank you for ....".

We can make this a better world we live in, if we stop only telling people the bad, and start telling them the good. You'd be surprised how shocked people will be, and how great it will make them feel, for the seeming random appreciation.

Thank you wolfy for everything you've done, for being here for me in my illnesses and in my strengths, for your art and your contribution to the place I call home. You're the best thing in my life.
