Episode 10: The Mastermind is Revealed!
Father-Son Tag-Team Brawlers!
Five days after the Sky Fortress, Tyson and family are relaxing at home…well…sorta…
“Oh scales, this feels so weird!” Cynder squeals.
“Well, so maybe it does to a first time swimmer. But at least you have some swimwear now, and you’re doing really well.” Tyson chuckles as he floats on his back, casually drifting by Cynder who proceeds to take a deep breath and pounces on his gut.
“Gah, hey what was that for?” Tyson sputters.
“Hmm, just felt like it…” Cynder jokes. They drift together and are about to kiss when…*ALARM-ALARM-ALARM-ALARM*!!!
“What is that?!” Cynder shouts.
“It’s…it’s the city’s storm alarm but it could also be used as a warning siren for an attack on the city like with the time dragon and…*BOOM*…WHOA!!!” Tyson screams as an explosion tears apart the front yard! They leap out of the pool and run to the living room which shifts into a large computer station with Kayla at the console.
“Home Defense Shield up and ready, but what exactly is going on!?” The main computer monitor turns on filled with static until a masked figure appears.
“YOU! You must be the one behind all this!” Tyson yells.
“Hahahaha, sorry but I’m not who you think I am! I can’t really tell you who I really am just yet, but I’m calling you to tell you that the one behind this whole mess has finally come out of hiding! And he’s launching his forces toward Avalar City!”
“How do we know that you aren’t him?” Tyson said, scowling at the man.
“Hahahaha, that’s the same look I used to give my old boss before I began my worldwide travels! My team is currently sending squads out into the city and escorting civilians to safety and there’s someone who’s with me who really wants to meet you, just find me out in the field, gotta go!” *blip*
“He kinda talks like you, Tyson.” Cynder said.
“Yeah…c’mon, let’s get ready and get out there!” Tyson shouted.

The entire city is ablaze with gun fire and swarms of new dragon mutants, more robotic and armored than before. Tyson and Cynder leap in with sword and claws at the ready, these things were relentless in every sense of the word! There were too many shooting all at once for Tyson or Cynder to get any closer to the group blocking the way into the city when suddenly a barrage of missiles came down on top of the robot Dragols. A squad of weapon toting soldiers run up behind them, Tyson and Cynder got ready for a fight but the soldiers just ran past them and formed a line while still shooting at the oncoming enemies.
One soldier comes up to Tyson and says, “Are you Tyson Drakes?”
“Yeah, who wants to know?” Tyson said.
“We’ve been given orders to lend the two of you assistance and provide backup. I’m Sgt. Orion ‘Tracer’ Highwind; I’m a friend of your father. And he told me to give these gems to you; he found them not long after the previous city incident. He said they are for your ‘black wing’ weapon.” He hands over a case with four different colored gems: a fire red gem, a toxic green and black gem, a white gem, and a crimson gem. He summoned Voidrus and just now noticed the other different shaped indents in the sword’s hilt, just as Tyson places the fire red gem in its place and armored Dragol breaks the line and charges at Tyson but before anyone can blink Tyson was already behind it as it slid in half and explodes. The new gem gave him unbelievable speed!
“Our commander is within enemy lines with a friend of yours, he says he’s a ‘brother’ of yours but you already have a younger sibling so that will be cleared up. SQUAD, WE’RE MOVING OUT! OUR ORDERS ARE TO ASSIST TYSON AND CYNDER AND ESCORT THEM THROUGH THE CITY!” he yells.
“YESSIR!” they shouted in unison.
“Hold on, before we go I need several squads of yours here to help protect my family and friends.” Tyson said.
“Already been arranged, squads 1, 7, 8 and 13 mobilize and proceed to the Drakes residence ASAP!” With that they load up into an armored Rider and take off into the city.
Tyson jumps out of the moving Rider and runs along side it thanks to the fire red gem; now this guy has giant armored dragon mutant cannon mounted tanks, this guy really needs a new hobby. They aim their cannons sight at them and fire, several shots miss wide but now they’re charging up just like Tyson can and then let loose a massive blast. Tyson moved in the way of the blast and blocked it with Voidrus, but then the white gem activated and the blast was reflected back at them! They continued firing at them but all the attacks were reflected by a white barrier field that expanded and covered the Rider as well! The ice blue gem activated as Tyson swung hard and ripped a sonic boom that sliced all the enemies in two before blowing up.
“Wow, I will never get how he pulls this stuff off.”
“Same here!” 2 soldiers joke around.
Just as they arrive at the park a robot Dragol comes out of the ground and catches Tyson by the legs while more go for the Rider’s anti-grav jets. Tyson struggles to keep the mutant from chomping his head off when a laser blast strikes the Dragol in the side and doesn’t even touch Tyson with sniper precision. A red Core Orb flies in as Tyson catches it he Dragon Triggers, the orb then took the shape of a red twin-barreled shotgun, the barrels looked like a two headed dragon and the grip had wings with flames emanating from it. Five Dragols jumped at him as he aims and with one shot, takes them all out! It shot fireballs in a scatter spread and when a fireball hits it adds a concussive bang and spreads the damage out even more.
Just then the masked man jets overhead carrying a huge gun as he fires missiles at the remaining Dragols before the gun changes shape and blasts out a laser beam and cuts through scores of them.
“Whoa, that’s…a T.A.B. M100 Blaster!” Tyson said.
“What’s that?” Cynder asked.
“Transforming Assault Buster, it can change forms and functions to fit any situation. From shooting missiles, explosive bullets and lasers to close range weapons like blades or grapple blades and such.” Tyson explains.
“And that is important because?” Cynder asks.
“Because only 100 have ever been built but 98 of them were destroyed when the warehouse got attacked by mercenaries who were way too trigger happy and shot into crates of explosives. The only two that are left in existence are owned by the guys who designed the gun and one of them was my dad! But where is he going…oh…boy…” Tyson stutters as a massive airship looms out of the clouds.
“That’s where the man responsible for destroying our world is, brother.”
“Huh?!” Tyson turns around to find a new dragon.
He had black scales all over, his wings membranes were bright red as were his horns and spikes running down his back and his tail spade, even his belly scales were red, with yellow eyes. He had black katana with a red hilt slung over his back between his wings; he also had a black buster gun on both arm with a red and yellow ring near the wrist. He was just as tall as Tyson even in his Dragon Trigger form.
“Did you call me your brother? Sorry but you can’t be, I already have a brother.” Tyson said.
“Well, I know that you are one with Spyro, who is my long lost twin brother, so that makes us brothers and rivals as well.”
“Brotherly rivals; like that’s new with me and Carter.” Tyson jokes.
“What is it you call yourself, Tyson? I am called Spyke.” He said.
“You said that your Spyro’s twin? But your colors are different?” Tyson asked.
“A dormant trait from our mother I suppose. But I have all the same powers and a few more than Spyro. I had heard about him when he and Cynder beat Malefor so I set out to find him but then IT showed up out of the world’s core.” Spyke said.
“‘IT’, what’s ‘IT’?” Tyson asked.
“The knight creature. I fought it but I was no match for it, it was almost like fighting Malefor himself but only having his powers far more concentrated.” Spyke explained.
“But…hey why aren’t you inside a Core Orb?” Tyson asked.
“During the fight, the creature created a rift hole and tossed me in. When I awoke it was your father who had found me and with his allies, tended to my injuries. During which I had transformed much like Cynder and the others have, your father has explained the incidents which have already occurred, the very man who is within that airship. I was told that your father is going there as we speak to confront this man.” Spyke explained. As soon as Tyson heard that he was already airborne on a Raiden Bike Model Air Gear, heading right for the ship!
“No, he can’t go there!” Spyke said.
“Why? His father is up there!” Cynder said.
“No, it’s because, if Tyson’s father was right, this man has managed to create a trap for Tyson!” Spyke said as they took off after him!
Back home everyone was worried about Tyson and the others, this kind of attack, one of this scale, is the worst that has ever been seen. Digit shuffles around a bit and suddenly takes off to the Ride Gear Hanger.
“Hey, Digit where are you going?!” Ember yelled. She and Flame follows her to the hanger and sees the most incredible thing ever! Suddenly the roof opens up and the entire house shakes as the roar of jets come out of nowhere! Then a stream of an air wake zooms over them and towards the battleship.
“What was that!?” Kayla shouted.
“It was Digit…” Ember said meekly.
Back at the battle, Cynder and Spyke were surrounded by flying Dragols and they were about to fire when suddenly several laser blasts come from behind the Dragols! A blue machine came screaming through the Dragols like a flying blade! The machine transformed, jet-like wings came out of its back, arms and legs detached from the body and reconnected to form shoulders and laser claws blazed to life, a long neck and the head of a dragon extended out of the body! And this thing looked familiar…
“Lady Cynder, I’m here to help!” Wait that voice…it was Digit!
“Digit is that you?!” Cynder asked.
“Yes, Master Tyson had anticipated something like this would happen so he and I constructed this battle body for me so that I would be able to fight as well. He’s already inside the enemy battleship and he’s…tearing his way through to the central bridge, we must hurry!” Digit said as she hovered close to Cynder and Spyke and blasted off with them holding on to her.
Meanwhile inside the battleship, Tyson is blasting and slashing like crazy. On the other side of a blast door the sounds of gunshots and explosions grow louder as they get closer, suddenly, *BOOM*, the blast door shatters to pieces as Tyson dashes through!
“KNOCKKNOCK!!!” Tyson yells as he whips out his guns and aims forward but no ones there… Tyson slowly walks toward the center of the room and just as his foot touches down on a hidden switch! Just then, several pulse-ray emitters come out of the floor and surround Tyson, when they activate the field they create traps Tyson in a bind!
“So you are the boy known as Tyson? I hadn’t expected you to fall so easily into my trap.”
“Who are you?! Show yourself!” Tyson shouted.
“Very well, I suppose you’ve earned the right to know this world’s soon to be Ruler!” From behind a wall of blast proof shield was the figure of a man, as the lens of the shield opened Tyson saw an old man dressed in crimson red and carried a black crystal around his outfit like a cross strap and buckled at the chest, his hair was kinda ragged and nearly all white but still had a strange purple color to it.
“You may not know me but I know all about you and how you are part of the dragon Spyro! My name is Red Maximus, but authorities simply call me Doc Red.” He said.
“What do you want? What is it you’re after? Answer me!!” Tyson yells.
“You are in no position to ask about anything, but there is something I want from you, your dark power in my control!!!” Red said as he flipped a switch. Pulse Bolt Energy Converters descended from the ceiling and fired at Tyson, the moment they hit he screamed in agony so greatly the Cynder was the only one who heard it!
Cynder bared her fangs as she began to glow a greenish color, she jumped off Digit to their surprise! She stiffened her wings as she curled into a ball and began to spin, her Poison element surrounding her as she rolled through the air faster and faster until the sphere of Poison was massive and heading toward the battleship! She hit with immense force as she was spinning so fast that she cut through the steel hull as if it was paper with the power of the new Poison Fury Attack. She streaked through the hallways of the ship with such speed that any enemies were sucked into a sonic boom vacuum and torn apart until she reached to room that Tyson was in as the door closed behind her!
Her eyes went wide when she saw the dark aura and the shape of Tyson’s Dragon Trigger turn around and face her.
“Well you must be the female dragon Cynder? I have no use for you but I’d like to see how well you’d fare against the very person who you love! Now my minion, destroy the dragon female in front of you and make it bloody!”

Tyson roared and lunged at Cynder but she jumped to the side as his attack destroyed the door with ease! He swiped wildly at her, left, right, up, down, he caught her leg with is tail and swung her into the wall! But she felt something, with this kind of power he should have easily thrown her clear through the wall and out of the ship but he didn’t! He came at her again but she caught him with her feet and tossed him to the other side of the room, several days ago Tyson had taught her how to fight with martial arts, and she was the fastest learner he had ever seen! Kicks and blasts were flying everywhere but Red didn’t even seem fazed. Suddenly Tyson moved faster that Cynder could react, she was hit up, down, left and right, behind the back, lifted off the ground and slammed into the floor with Tyson baring his black fangs about to rip at her throat, Cynder closed her eyes, he was to powerful in this form. But when the final blow didn’t come she looked at him…and he was straining against himself!!! He was holding himself back inches away from her throat, tears were streaming out of his eyes.
“Huh, what are you waiting for!? Finish her, I command you to tear out her throat!” Red yelled. Tyson brought his claw up to stab her but just as he was about to make contact he stopped dead cold, his claw shaking.
“Guh…Tyson…I know you’re in there…the darkness…can’t control you…you, guh, control it…don’t be his…puppet like I was…Please…come back to us…to me…because I…love you too…” Cynder wheezed as she tried to raise her head to kiss him but just as their lips touched she fell back down, unconscious but not dead.
Dark Tyson clenched his claws and smashed his tail into the metal floor as he let out a pained roar that the entire city heard! Just then something happened; Tyson grabbed his head and began swinging around as a golden aura fought against his dark aura! Suddenly cracks began to appear all over his body as a golden light emanated out of them!
Scanners and radars in Red’s chamber began to give off an alarm, Red looked at the energy scanner and found that Tyson’s Power Limit was skyrocketing, far more so than when his Dragon Trigger was awakened and it was overloading the scanner and the ship as well!
Rays of golden light bathed the entire room and amazingly Cynder’s injuries healed instantly, the golden cracks along Tyson’s body were growing larger when he unleashed a massive roar as the darkness around his body exploded, shattering the glass to Red’s chamber!
When Red recovered he saw an amazing sight that hasn’t been seen since the final battle of the King! Standing over Cynder was a shining gold figure; he had the body of a human but the horns, claws, tail and wings of a dragon, a shining gold sword adorned across his back! As he turned to face Red the golden eyes of a dragon pierced Red to his very core, it was Tyson!
“Be thankful I have something more important to take care of right now, or else I’d kill you for what you made me do. I’m letting you go, for now, but the next time we meet you won’t be so lucky!” Tyson said as he levitated Cynder into his arms, hovered off the floor and shot off, tearing through the ship like paper. Red sat in his chair as it rose into his escape ship and took off!
Outside, everyone saw the ship suddenly explode along the bow. The leader of the military squad looked straight at it and suddenly saw a golden Tyson tearing through the ship as the explosions didn’t even slow him down as he flew clear of the final blast and through the remaining flying enemies. He didn’t even touch any of them but still they were destroyed as he zoomed downward to an open field.
When everyone arrived, they saw Tyson’s golden form just as he reverted back.
“Uhh, Tyson? You’re alright!” Cynder said.
“Thanks to you, I won’t let the dark control me, for you.” Tyson said. The masked man walked up as he removed his mask.
“Well, you certainly are a chip off the old block, aren’t ya?” Tyson helped Cynder to her feet as they turned to face him. Tyson’s eyes widened…
“What? Is there something on my face? Or are you surprised to finally meet me…SON!!”
“D…da…dad?! …..DAAADDDD!!!!” Tyson screamed as he ran at him and jumped him.
“Yow, hey, watch it! HAHAHAHAHA, how you’ve been doing son?” Xander asked.
“It…it really is you! I’ve always wanted to meet you! Oh and mom says that you owe me 18 years worth of birthday presents!” Tyson jokes.
“Oh really, hahahaha, I think I have been gone for too long oh and one more thing…” Xander says as he pulls a gun out and shoots over Tyson’s shoulder hitting a Dragol in the face!
“How about we show these guys how a Father and Son fight?” Zander asked.
“You got it!” Tyson said as he and Xander took the same fighting stance!

They dashed forward, jumping in sync, locked their arms midair and spun around shooting at the same time! They landed in the thick of it, Tyson and Xander blasting and slashing in unison, Tyson and Xander traded weapons, Xander did a technique called the Sharpshooter Dance, spinning on one foot like a top, he fired in rapid succession as Tyson changed the OmniGun into a Gatling Missile Launcher and destroyed scores of enemies.
Tyson changed the gun into a Mach Mine toward the last group of enemies, and just as if they were reading each others minds, Xander shot a single bullet at the mine and detonated it!
With the explosion in the background they tossed their weapons back to each other and turned with a stylish flair, Ladies and Gentlemen the Father-Son Tag Team Brawlers!!
“Ah, looks like the King knew that he would be leaving the future in capable hands. Tyson, you have taken the King’s powers into a whole new league!” Xander said. (Record scratching in distance) Whoa, wait a tick! What the?!
“Huh!? Dad, how do you know about the King?” Tyson said.
“I guess you haven’t figured it out yet. I have some explaining to do huh? Better yet, how about I show you where I met him!” Xander said.
“What, you met him!?” everyone yelled at the same time.
Later that day as they are flying over the Fang Mountains, “You see I did actually meet King Avalar. It was back when I was your age Tyson, I was exploring the mountains when what looked like a purple comet crashed near me but it didn’t hit like a comet, so I went to investigate. I found a huge dragon that was badly injured.” Xander explained as they landed. He continued as they walked to a certain spot, “He said that he was a king dragon from a far off world…”
“Are you not afraid of me?” he asked.
“No, if I was afraid I wouldn’t be exploring the world alone like this.” Xander said.
“Your soul is one that is honorable, what is your name? I am King Avalar.” He said.
“Xander Drakes, your highness. Why are you here on our world?” Xander asked.
“…My life is at its end, but he will return to destroy your world. Young Xander, the power of the purple dragon is the hope of the future for your world. Can I entrust you with the future of both our worlds?” The King asked.
“Anything for a friend.” Xander answered.
“I shall transfer my powers to you, and one day an ‘heir’ to the throne shall be born.” The King placed a single claw on Young Xander’s chest and a purple aura flowed from the King’s chest into Xander!
“Wait, there has to be something I can do to help!?” Young Xander said.
“No…my time is over…I had managed to seal away my brother who has been corrupted by darkness for too long to be saved…the fate of all rests not only on…one but on many in the future…take hold of the bonds of destiny and shape the future with your own two hands! The destinies of Dragons and Humans are now one…………” The King slowly laid his head down on the ground, quiet and peaceful, before his body faded away. Vanished out of thin air, the King was gone.
“So you actually met him here?” Tyson asked.
“Yes, y’know in all this time I’ve never been able to get the King’s powers to work for me. But now I realize that his powers weren’t meant for me…they were meant for you, Tyson. You are the heir of the Dragon King, King Avalar!” Xander said.
“His name is…Avalar? I’m the…heir!” Tyson stood there quiet, “He told you that he sealed away his brother…darkness…his brother was MALEFOR!”
“Tyson…” Cynder whispered.
“So I’m the one who was chosen for this…it’s strange…he may be gone but I feel as if he’s still here…” Tyson said when he looked over to Cynder who was facing away from him, “Cynder…so I may be the heir of the King but that doesn’t change the way I feel about you.” Cynder turned around, wiping the tears from her eyes.
“I’ll make a promise to you, if I really do become a King…you’ll be my Queen!” Tyson said.
“C’mon you guys, let’s get the car warmed up.” Xander said leading the others away.
“But I’ve read that royalty, Princes, only love Princesses.” Cynder said.
“And who says that I don’t see you as a Princess?” Tyson said. Cynder wrapped her arms around him and pulled him closer.

Back at the car, Tyson and Cynder came walking hand in hand.
“So what do we do now, your highness?” Sgt. Tracer asked.
“One: don’t call me that, two: we’re gonna keep doing what we’ve been doing all along, fighting bad guys and saving the world, and three: just call me Tyson! Now let’s get home, we got family waiting for us!” Tyson said as they took off. He looked back and just for a split second he swears he saw the King standing there looking up at them before fading away.

Inside the ruins of a castle, deep in a dark chamber, two red eyes began to glow ominously, “Hmm? What is this energy? It's very similar to that of the black dragon whelp, but much more than the dragon who cursed me centuries back... Never mind, my body will soon regenerate, and nobody can stop my return. Very soon, this world shall succumb to my wrath...”
Suddenly, a few torches blazed to life throughout the underground cave, revealing a skeletal dragon, in front of a group of shadowy creatures, far from considering them alive.
At some point in the city, Spyke was watching the city from the top of a building when he felt a chill speed through his body that made him look up with a look of horror and contempt, making just a thought, “...Drakath?... what are you doing here, in this world... and why are you... alive... Hope, Cross... where are you...”

“We’ve been given orders to lend the two of you assistance and provide backup. I’m Sgt. Orion ‘Tracer’ Highwind; I’m a friend of your father. And he told me to give these gems to you; he found them not long after the previous city incident. He said they are for your ‘black wing’ weapon.” He hands over a case with four different colored gems: a fire red gem, a toxic green and black gem, a white gem, and a crimson gem. He summoned Voidrus and just now noticed the other different shaped indents in the sword’s hilt, just as Tyson places the fire red gem in its place and armored Dragol breaks the line and charges at Tyson but before anyone can blink Tyson was already behind it as it slid in half and explodes. The new gem gave him unbelievable speed!
“Our commander is within enemy lines with a friend of yours, he says he’s a ‘brother’ of yours but you already have a younger sibling so that will be cleared up. SQUAD, WE’RE MOVING OUT! OUR ORDERS ARE TO ASSIST TYSON AND CYNDER AND ESCORT THEM THROUGH THE CITY!” he yells.
“YESSIR!” they shouted in unison.
“Hold on, before we go I need several squads of yours here to help protect my family and friends.” Tyson said.
“Already been arranged, squads 1, 7, 8 and 13 mobilize and proceed to the Drakes residence ASAP!” With that they load up into an armored Rider and take off into the city.
Tyson jumps out of the moving Rider and runs along side it thanks to the fire red gem; now this guy has giant armored dragon mutant cannon mounted tanks, this guy really needs a new hobby. They aim their cannons sight at them and fire, several shots miss wide but now they’re charging up just like Tyson can and then let loose a massive blast. Tyson moved in the way of the blast and blocked it with Voidrus, but then the white gem activated and the blast was reflected back at them! They continued firing at them but all the attacks were reflected by a white barrier field that expanded and covered the Rider as well! The ice blue gem activated as Tyson swung hard and ripped a sonic boom that sliced all the enemies in two before blowing up.
“Wow, I will never get how he pulls this stuff off.”
“Same here!” 2 soldiers joke around.
Just as they arrive at the park a robot Dragol comes out of the ground and catches Tyson by the legs while more go for the Rider’s anti-grav jets. Tyson struggles to keep the mutant from chomping his head off when a laser blast strikes the Dragol in the side and doesn’t even touch Tyson with sniper precision. A red Core Orb flies in as Tyson catches it he Dragon Triggers, the orb then took the shape of a red twin-barreled shotgun, the barrels looked like a two headed dragon and the grip had wings with flames emanating from it. Five Dragols jumped at him as he aims and with one shot, takes them all out! It shot fireballs in a scatter spread and when a fireball hits it adds a concussive bang and spreads the damage out even more.
Just then the masked man jets overhead carrying a huge gun as he fires missiles at the remaining Dragols before the gun changes shape and blasts out a laser beam and cuts through scores of them.
“Whoa, that’s…a T.A.B. M100 Blaster!” Tyson said.
“What’s that?” Cynder asked.
“Transforming Assault Buster, it can change forms and functions to fit any situation. From shooting missiles, explosive bullets and lasers to close range weapons like blades or grapple blades and such.” Tyson explains.
“And that is important because?” Cynder asks.
“Because only 100 have ever been built but 98 of them were destroyed when the warehouse got attacked by mercenaries who were way too trigger happy and shot into crates of explosives. The only two that are left in existence are owned by the guys who designed the gun and one of them was my dad! But where is he going…oh…boy…” Tyson stutters as a massive airship looms out of the clouds.
“That’s where the man responsible for destroying our world is, brother.”
“Huh?!” Tyson turns around to find a new dragon.
He had black scales all over, his wings membranes were bright red as were his horns and spikes running down his back and his tail spade, even his belly scales were red, with yellow eyes. He had black katana with a red hilt slung over his back between his wings; he also had a black buster gun on both arm with a red and yellow ring near the wrist. He was just as tall as Tyson even in his Dragon Trigger form.
“Did you call me your brother? Sorry but you can’t be, I already have a brother.” Tyson said.
“Well, I know that you are one with Spyro, who is my long lost twin brother, so that makes us brothers and rivals as well.”
“Brotherly rivals; like that’s new with me and Carter.” Tyson jokes.
“What is it you call yourself, Tyson? I am called Spyke.” He said.
“You said that your Spyro’s twin? But your colors are different?” Tyson asked.
“A dormant trait from our mother I suppose. But I have all the same powers and a few more than Spyro. I had heard about him when he and Cynder beat Malefor so I set out to find him but then IT showed up out of the world’s core.” Spyke said.
“‘IT’, what’s ‘IT’?” Tyson asked.
“The knight creature. I fought it but I was no match for it, it was almost like fighting Malefor himself but only having his powers far more concentrated.” Spyke explained.
“But…hey why aren’t you inside a Core Orb?” Tyson asked.
“During the fight, the creature created a rift hole and tossed me in. When I awoke it was your father who had found me and with his allies, tended to my injuries. During which I had transformed much like Cynder and the others have, your father has explained the incidents which have already occurred, the very man who is within that airship. I was told that your father is going there as we speak to confront this man.” Spyke explained. As soon as Tyson heard that he was already airborne on a Raiden Bike Model Air Gear, heading right for the ship!
“No, he can’t go there!” Spyke said.
“Why? His father is up there!” Cynder said.
“No, it’s because, if Tyson’s father was right, this man has managed to create a trap for Tyson!” Spyke said as they took off after him!
Back home everyone was worried about Tyson and the others, this kind of attack, one of this scale, is the worst that has ever been seen. Digit shuffles around a bit and suddenly takes off to the Ride Gear Hanger.
“Hey, Digit where are you going?!” Ember yelled. She and Flame follows her to the hanger and sees the most incredible thing ever! Suddenly the roof opens up and the entire house shakes as the roar of jets come out of nowhere! Then a stream of an air wake zooms over them and towards the battleship.
“What was that!?” Kayla shouted.
“It was Digit…” Ember said meekly.
Back at the battle, Cynder and Spyke were surrounded by flying Dragols and they were about to fire when suddenly several laser blasts come from behind the Dragols! A blue machine came screaming through the Dragols like a flying blade! The machine transformed, jet-like wings came out of its back, arms and legs detached from the body and reconnected to form shoulders and laser claws blazed to life, a long neck and the head of a dragon extended out of the body! And this thing looked familiar…
“Lady Cynder, I’m here to help!” Wait that voice…it was Digit!
“Digit is that you?!” Cynder asked.
“Yes, Master Tyson had anticipated something like this would happen so he and I constructed this battle body for me so that I would be able to fight as well. He’s already inside the enemy battleship and he’s…tearing his way through to the central bridge, we must hurry!” Digit said as she hovered close to Cynder and Spyke and blasted off with them holding on to her.
Meanwhile inside the battleship, Tyson is blasting and slashing like crazy. On the other side of a blast door the sounds of gunshots and explosions grow louder as they get closer, suddenly, *BOOM*, the blast door shatters to pieces as Tyson dashes through!
“KNOCKKNOCK!!!” Tyson yells as he whips out his guns and aims forward but no ones there… Tyson slowly walks toward the center of the room and just as his foot touches down on a hidden switch! Just then, several pulse-ray emitters come out of the floor and surround Tyson, when they activate the field they create traps Tyson in a bind!
“So you are the boy known as Tyson? I hadn’t expected you to fall so easily into my trap.”
“Who are you?! Show yourself!” Tyson shouted.
“Very well, I suppose you’ve earned the right to know this world’s soon to be Ruler!” From behind a wall of blast proof shield was the figure of a man, as the lens of the shield opened Tyson saw an old man dressed in crimson red and carried a black crystal around his outfit like a cross strap and buckled at the chest, his hair was kinda ragged and nearly all white but still had a strange purple color to it.
“You may not know me but I know all about you and how you are part of the dragon Spyro! My name is Red Maximus, but authorities simply call me Doc Red.” He said.
“What do you want? What is it you’re after? Answer me!!” Tyson yells.
“You are in no position to ask about anything, but there is something I want from you, your dark power in my control!!!” Red said as he flipped a switch. Pulse Bolt Energy Converters descended from the ceiling and fired at Tyson, the moment they hit he screamed in agony so greatly the Cynder was the only one who heard it!
Cynder bared her fangs as she began to glow a greenish color, she jumped off Digit to their surprise! She stiffened her wings as she curled into a ball and began to spin, her Poison element surrounding her as she rolled through the air faster and faster until the sphere of Poison was massive and heading toward the battleship! She hit with immense force as she was spinning so fast that she cut through the steel hull as if it was paper with the power of the new Poison Fury Attack. She streaked through the hallways of the ship with such speed that any enemies were sucked into a sonic boom vacuum and torn apart until she reached to room that Tyson was in as the door closed behind her!
Her eyes went wide when she saw the dark aura and the shape of Tyson’s Dragon Trigger turn around and face her.
“Well you must be the female dragon Cynder? I have no use for you but I’d like to see how well you’d fare against the very person who you love! Now my minion, destroy the dragon female in front of you and make it bloody!”

Tyson roared and lunged at Cynder but she jumped to the side as his attack destroyed the door with ease! He swiped wildly at her, left, right, up, down, he caught her leg with is tail and swung her into the wall! But she felt something, with this kind of power he should have easily thrown her clear through the wall and out of the ship but he didn’t! He came at her again but she caught him with her feet and tossed him to the other side of the room, several days ago Tyson had taught her how to fight with martial arts, and she was the fastest learner he had ever seen! Kicks and blasts were flying everywhere but Red didn’t even seem fazed. Suddenly Tyson moved faster that Cynder could react, she was hit up, down, left and right, behind the back, lifted off the ground and slammed into the floor with Tyson baring his black fangs about to rip at her throat, Cynder closed her eyes, he was to powerful in this form. But when the final blow didn’t come she looked at him…and he was straining against himself!!! He was holding himself back inches away from her throat, tears were streaming out of his eyes.
“Huh, what are you waiting for!? Finish her, I command you to tear out her throat!” Red yelled. Tyson brought his claw up to stab her but just as he was about to make contact he stopped dead cold, his claw shaking.
“Guh…Tyson…I know you’re in there…the darkness…can’t control you…you, guh, control it…don’t be his…puppet like I was…Please…come back to us…to me…because I…love you too…” Cynder wheezed as she tried to raise her head to kiss him but just as their lips touched she fell back down, unconscious but not dead.
Dark Tyson clenched his claws and smashed his tail into the metal floor as he let out a pained roar that the entire city heard! Just then something happened; Tyson grabbed his head and began swinging around as a golden aura fought against his dark aura! Suddenly cracks began to appear all over his body as a golden light emanated out of them!
Scanners and radars in Red’s chamber began to give off an alarm, Red looked at the energy scanner and found that Tyson’s Power Limit was skyrocketing, far more so than when his Dragon Trigger was awakened and it was overloading the scanner and the ship as well!
Rays of golden light bathed the entire room and amazingly Cynder’s injuries healed instantly, the golden cracks along Tyson’s body were growing larger when he unleashed a massive roar as the darkness around his body exploded, shattering the glass to Red’s chamber!
When Red recovered he saw an amazing sight that hasn’t been seen since the final battle of the King! Standing over Cynder was a shining gold figure; he had the body of a human but the horns, claws, tail and wings of a dragon, a shining gold sword adorned across his back! As he turned to face Red the golden eyes of a dragon pierced Red to his very core, it was Tyson!
“Be thankful I have something more important to take care of right now, or else I’d kill you for what you made me do. I’m letting you go, for now, but the next time we meet you won’t be so lucky!” Tyson said as he levitated Cynder into his arms, hovered off the floor and shot off, tearing through the ship like paper. Red sat in his chair as it rose into his escape ship and took off!
Outside, everyone saw the ship suddenly explode along the bow. The leader of the military squad looked straight at it and suddenly saw a golden Tyson tearing through the ship as the explosions didn’t even slow him down as he flew clear of the final blast and through the remaining flying enemies. He didn’t even touch any of them but still they were destroyed as he zoomed downward to an open field.
When everyone arrived, they saw Tyson’s golden form just as he reverted back.
“Uhh, Tyson? You’re alright!” Cynder said.
“Thanks to you, I won’t let the dark control me, for you.” Tyson said. The masked man walked up as he removed his mask.
“Well, you certainly are a chip off the old block, aren’t ya?” Tyson helped Cynder to her feet as they turned to face him. Tyson’s eyes widened…
“What? Is there something on my face? Or are you surprised to finally meet me…SON!!”
“D…da…dad?! …..DAAADDDD!!!!” Tyson screamed as he ran at him and jumped him.
“Yow, hey, watch it! HAHAHAHAHA, how you’ve been doing son?” Xander asked.
“It…it really is you! I’ve always wanted to meet you! Oh and mom says that you owe me 18 years worth of birthday presents!” Tyson jokes.
“Oh really, hahahaha, I think I have been gone for too long oh and one more thing…” Xander says as he pulls a gun out and shoots over Tyson’s shoulder hitting a Dragol in the face!
“How about we show these guys how a Father and Son fight?” Zander asked.
“You got it!” Tyson said as he and Xander took the same fighting stance!
[Megaman X Command Mission Music-Fight X!]
They dashed forward, jumping in sync, locked their arms midair and spun around shooting at the same time! They landed in the thick of it, Tyson and Xander blasting and slashing in unison, Tyson and Xander traded weapons, Xander did a technique called the Sharpshooter Dance, spinning on one foot like a top, he fired in rapid succession as Tyson changed the OmniGun into a Gatling Missile Launcher and destroyed scores of enemies.
Tyson changed the gun into a Mach Mine toward the last group of enemies, and just as if they were reading each others minds, Xander shot a single bullet at the mine and detonated it!
With the explosion in the background they tossed their weapons back to each other and turned with a stylish flair, Ladies and Gentlemen the Father-Son Tag Team Brawlers!!
“Ah, looks like the King knew that he would be leaving the future in capable hands. Tyson, you have taken the King’s powers into a whole new league!” Xander said. (Record scratching in distance) Whoa, wait a tick! What the?!
“Huh!? Dad, how do you know about the King?” Tyson said.
“I guess you haven’t figured it out yet. I have some explaining to do huh? Better yet, how about I show you where I met him!” Xander said.
“What, you met him!?” everyone yelled at the same time.
Later that day as they are flying over the Fang Mountains, “You see I did actually meet King Avalar. It was back when I was your age Tyson, I was exploring the mountains when what looked like a purple comet crashed near me but it didn’t hit like a comet, so I went to investigate. I found a huge dragon that was badly injured.” Xander explained as they landed. He continued as they walked to a certain spot, “He said that he was a king dragon from a far off world…”
“Are you not afraid of me?” he asked.
“No, if I was afraid I wouldn’t be exploring the world alone like this.” Xander said.
“Your soul is one that is honorable, what is your name? I am King Avalar.” He said.
“Xander Drakes, your highness. Why are you here on our world?” Xander asked.
“…My life is at its end, but he will return to destroy your world. Young Xander, the power of the purple dragon is the hope of the future for your world. Can I entrust you with the future of both our worlds?” The King asked.
“Anything for a friend.” Xander answered.
“I shall transfer my powers to you, and one day an ‘heir’ to the throne shall be born.” The King placed a single claw on Young Xander’s chest and a purple aura flowed from the King’s chest into Xander!
“Wait, there has to be something I can do to help!?” Young Xander said.
“No…my time is over…I had managed to seal away my brother who has been corrupted by darkness for too long to be saved…the fate of all rests not only on…one but on many in the future…take hold of the bonds of destiny and shape the future with your own two hands! The destinies of Dragons and Humans are now one…………” The King slowly laid his head down on the ground, quiet and peaceful, before his body faded away. Vanished out of thin air, the King was gone.
“So you actually met him here?” Tyson asked.
“Yes, y’know in all this time I’ve never been able to get the King’s powers to work for me. But now I realize that his powers weren’t meant for me…they were meant for you, Tyson. You are the heir of the Dragon King, King Avalar!” Xander said.
“His name is…Avalar? I’m the…heir!” Tyson stood there quiet, “He told you that he sealed away his brother…darkness…his brother was MALEFOR!”
“Tyson…” Cynder whispered.
“So I’m the one who was chosen for this…it’s strange…he may be gone but I feel as if he’s still here…” Tyson said when he looked over to Cynder who was facing away from him, “Cynder…so I may be the heir of the King but that doesn’t change the way I feel about you.” Cynder turned around, wiping the tears from her eyes.
“I’ll make a promise to you, if I really do become a King…you’ll be my Queen!” Tyson said.
“C’mon you guys, let’s get the car warmed up.” Xander said leading the others away.
“But I’ve read that royalty, Princes, only love Princesses.” Cynder said.
“And who says that I don’t see you as a Princess?” Tyson said. Cynder wrapped her arms around him and pulled him closer.

Back at the car, Tyson and Cynder came walking hand in hand.
“So what do we do now, your highness?” Sgt. Tracer asked.
“One: don’t call me that, two: we’re gonna keep doing what we’ve been doing all along, fighting bad guys and saving the world, and three: just call me Tyson! Now let’s get home, we got family waiting for us!” Tyson said as they took off. He looked back and just for a split second he swears he saw the King standing there looking up at them before fading away.

Inside the ruins of a castle, deep in a dark chamber, two red eyes began to glow ominously, “Hmm? What is this energy? It's very similar to that of the black dragon whelp, but much more than the dragon who cursed me centuries back... Never mind, my body will soon regenerate, and nobody can stop my return. Very soon, this world shall succumb to my wrath...”
Suddenly, a few torches blazed to life throughout the underground cave, revealing a skeletal dragon, in front of a group of shadowy creatures, far from considering them alive.
At some point in the city, Spyke was watching the city from the top of a building when he felt a chill speed through his body that made him look up with a look of horror and contempt, making just a thought, “...Drakath?... what are you doing here, in this world... and why are you... alive... Hope, Cross... where are you...”

i know i haven't read the whole story so far even if u did seem to write this very fast well too fast. were is the Cynder in this i know Tyson/Spyro is an awsome overpowered protagonist i like this story but the whole Power Overwhelming deal gets abit old and really?,,, come on the dansle in distress gets abt tiresome too also. i Do love you story it had great potential but give the story abit more love dude seriously a redo/rewrite/update. Details details
thx tyson is half of spyro and vice versa. so if you haven't read episode 8 check it out to see how tyson gets so strong and how badly the new malefor gets his tail beat. it reads like youre playing a game when season 2 starts even more insanely powerful enemies and dragon powers await. i i actually take a lot of time to write each episode. thx for the feedback, i'll get the next episode asap.
sorry for the semi harsh sekeptisism. i was in a fowl mood last night. i guess i can kinda put your story like reading what a 30min cartoon or show maybe. i can understand u wanna cram a lot a awsome leet haxx in to each an every exciting episode but you do need to put some filler or downtime in parts of each episode, with abit more detailed explinations just a tidbit more. On a side note i like all your weapons but thinking of this last night other then Tystons personal hand guns, spyro sword (can't remeber name atm), and the weapons from each dragon guardian (earth, lightning, fire, ice) the other weapon/mostly guns are abit OVERKILL don't you think? i know your putting in other peoples characters into the plot and it works ive seen it with another spyro fanfic but yeh abit overkill.
