Episode 5: The Dragon Trio Part 2!
Rick The Dragon of the Void!

“I see, so that’s why Cynder didn’t recognize the dragons she sensed, you and your girlfriend lived on the opposite side of your world.” Tyson said, “But what I want to know is why did you two bail and run away from us?”
“I wasn’t sure if either of you could be trusted at first…I guess Sophie was right, I judged you way too early…” he said.
“If I was in your situation right now I’d feel the same way. I’m Tyson and this is Cynder, Ignitus, Volteer, and Hunter…hey, Ember, Flame!? What are you two doin’ here!?” Tyson shouted.
“We thought you could use all the help you can get so here we are!” Flame grinned.
“Guh…alright, but you stay with Ignitus and Volteer! I don’t want to see either of you being dragged off by your tails by these things, understood?” Tyson said. For a second there Cynder thought he sounded more like a father than a 19 year old.
“I’ll help in anyway I can… my name is…” he was interrupted by a hoard of dragon mutants all around them.
“You know I have a better way to get to know you…” Tyson held out his hand and the light settled in his palm.
“…….Easy-going, laidback, fun-loving, and yet mature and responsible when needed. You are one who is always ready to protect the one who is the most precious to you. Your name is…Rick!” Tyson said as the light suddenly kicked back. He raised his arms and Rick’s light formed a huge sword whose blade is shaped like a wing with a lone red scar, the dragon mutants began to cower as the Dragon Arm cracked with power like a lightning bolt crashing down, he swings it slowly to the side and the wing extends 10 feet out, he sidesteps bringing the hilt of the sword behind his head and the tip of the weapon changes to like a scythe, he slowly twists it side to side before stopping and it reverts back to its sword form. It’s giving off an icy blue aura as Tyson scans the enemy horde…the whole area is silent, waiting for either side to make the first move…………a single mutant roars to attack!
Tyson unleashes a powerful swing towards the oncoming wave and a sonic boom rips off the sword’s blade but passes right through the enemies without damaging them. Suddenly there was a quick flash of light behind them and without warning a hole ripped open out of thin air and sucked several dozen dragon mutants into it like a…black hole only one that can be controlled! An enemy dashed behind Tyson and was about to slash him when suddenly he vanished, a split second later he reappeared out of that very dragon mutant’s shadow and countered. He vanished again and again out of enemies shadows and taking out groups with ease, he appeared in a blur in the center of the plaza and began spinning the huge blade by the hilt where the curve of the dragon wing shaped blade touches the hilt tip, the icy blue aura was moving with the blade so fast it looked as if transformed into a disc before he raised it up above him, the silhouette of a dark purple dragon with ten horns and a scarred wing appeared around Tyson, what could these mean? The power of the sword began to surge and shot into the sky and a massive black hole tore open above the city but no one else was sucked in only the dragon mutants all over the city were pulled away and banished to another dimension! Tyson rested the sword across his shoulders and spun with his head to the sky, spun the sword once more and slung it over his back and with one last crack of power the silhouette faded away.
The same dark purple light came out of Tyson’s chest and grew bigger and faded away, in its place was a dragon about 7-8 feet tall, dark purple scales, a lone red scar on his right wing, a single arm band on his left wrist, three blade like spines near the tip of his tail, spikes running down the length of his back, ten horns cover the back of his head.
“I’m…me again!” he said.
“Rick let’s go, you got a girlfriend to save!” Tyson shouted. Rick’s jungle green eyes flashed with determination.
“Yeah, I’m coming Sophie!” Rick said.
“Now that’s the spirit, ikuze!” Tyson said.
“Wait what?” Cynder asked.
“It means ‘let’s go’!” Tyson said. With both Cynder and Rick using their senses together they were able to pinpoint where Sophie is in the city, City Hall Square. As they walk to the square Tyson explains what all has happened before this incident and judging by the look on Rick’s face you can tell he was very surprised but very worried at the same time.
“Don’t worry; we’re going to save Sophie. She’s going to be fine; we’ll make sure of it!” Cynder said. Tyson quietly thought what if HE was Spyro? If part of his spirit is Spyro’s then what if he and Spyro are actually one and the same, the same person? If that’s true then…how will Tyson be able to bring out Spyro……? As soon as he realized it they had arrived at the square only to see armed soldiers carrying Sophie away in a container.
“SOPHIE! GRR, LET HER GO!!!” Rick roared. While Rick and the others went after the soldiers who had Sophie, Tyson and Cynder went after the one who’s responsible for this.
“Hey, what do you think you guys are doing?!” Tyson demanded.
“It’s obvious that this organism is the source of these creatures and as for your black pet creature we will be taking it for experimentation!” the head guy said.
Just as armed soldiers grabbed Cynder, Tyson lost his temper, “OH LIKE HELL YOU WON’T!!!! GET AWAY FROM HER!!!!” The energy from his latent powers was enough to blow them away and break open the container that Sophie was being held in. This surge of power surprised these guys like never before.
“There is no way I’m letting guys like you hurt Cynder. I’m only going to give you and your cronies’ one chance to get out of here before I start busting heads!” Tyson growled. Suddenly the ground began to shake but not from Tyson’s powers, a time rift tore open in front of the Mayor’s statue and from it thundering steps echoed and a massive dragon creature emerged from the rift. It had white streaks coming from its eyes and zigzagging all over its body, its roar was enough to make the hover-transport carrier skid across the ground into a building. It blew Sophie right out of Rick’s hands, Tyson made a mad dash for Sophie and just as he caught her, a bright light shone as he landed.
“Kind, sweet, and playful, shy but curious. Always one to brighten anyone’s day, your light will always guide those who are lost. You are…Sophie!” Tyson says as the light collects on Tyson’s right shoulder and from it is a shoulder guard modeled in the shape of a dragon with pink and white scales, two large wings with swords made of super concentrated light, and they moved to Tyson’s thoughts. He crouched, grabbed several swords and leapt into the air and threw all six of them into the ground around the dragon, wheeling and spinning all the while throwing more and more swords around the dragon. From above you’d see that Tyson is throwing them to shape Cynder’s head, with one single last sword he throws between the dragons front legs, he lands…takes one arm and says, “Victory…come to the one…who strikes first!” and snaps his fingers and causes the swords the explode and blow a hole out from beneath. As the dust settled the white light came from Tyson’s chest and transformed into a dragoness about a little shorter than Rick, she had pink hair, large wings with yellow and pink feathers, pick scales all over and green eyes.
“Rick!”
“Sophie!” It was such a tender sight, a couple reunited. But just as Tyson turned around he was sucker punched by a massive claw, the dragon was still there and the ground was still intact as if nothing happened.
“You think you can defeat the master of time? I, Chronolus, can never be slain!” he roared. But then Tyson noticed a large white gash on his chest, he didn’t make that one…Tyson dashed with Slumbering Legacy but just as he was about to stab, Chronolus vanished and Tyson was suddenly smashed aside from behind! Cynder tried to attack from behind but he vanished again and without even knowing it she was pinned to the ground underneath his massive paw pressing down harder and harder on her. Explosions impacted Chronolus’s back from Tyson’s charged shots but he barely even flinched! He was distracted enough for Tyson to jump above his head with his sword pointed downward but then Tyson suddenly froze in midair; Chronolus has stopped time and was moving in for the kill. Tyson has gotten out of all kinds of situations but fighting time itself was on a completely different level, he couldn’t do a thing! Just as Chronolus was about to tear Tyson apart a blade of super-pressurized water actually tore through the time rift and canceled the time freeze, the water even curved and struck Chronolus’s giant chest gash, sending him reeling!
As Tyson is falling an ocean blue light sphere shot into his hand, “Powerful and fierce, your sword cuts through your enemies like water in a tidal wave. You are…Richard!” A stream of water formed underneath Tyson, in his hand was a huge guillotine sword, nave blue blade with a curved tip and markings like waves. The water moved wherever Tyson swung the sword, it even looked like he was surfing the water as he moved and fired water bullets at Chronolus!
Tyson jumped at the peak of his rise and water began to swirl around the blade like a whirlpool, the silhouette of an azure dragon with black horns with a sharp tipped tail appeared around him as two powerful streams of water struck Chronolus upwards, exposing his massive gash! Tyson brought the tip of the sword downward as the water began to swirl faster and faster around it forming a gigantic drill-like spear, the ‘Water Fury Attack’ hit with such tremendous force the shockwave rattled the whole city, as the attack did its work it grew even larger, bigger than Chronolus himself! It was too much to fight against and Chronolus was pummeled into the ground followed by an eruption of a tsunami but as the giant wave reached Cynder and the others it just passed over them not even getting them wet.
Chronolus was gone and Tyson not even the slightest bit wet helps Cynder to her feet when an azure dragon appeared out of a pillar of water, he was about to swing his sword at Tyson and Cynder when suddenly, “Richard?” Rick called. He froze when he heard Rick’s voice.
“Rick…Sophie?! Is that really you, bro?” he asked. All three began to laugh and give a group hug, who knew that Rick had a brother. Suddenly Cynder collapsed clutching her chest; she must have been severely injured when Chronolus smashed her into the ground.
“Please, allow me to help her, it’s the least I can do to repay you for saving us.” Sophie said as she kneeled close to Cynder, light began to pour off her wings onto Cynder and right before his eyes Cynder’s injuries were healing instantly, “I have the ability to heal others with my light powers. She’ll be perfectly fine.” Tyson let out a sigh of relief but just then an explosion ripped out from behind them, a huge gaping hole appeared and began pulling things into it, turning whatever got pulled into it into dust, on pure instinct Tyson picked up Cynder and threw her to Ignitus who with Volteer created a protective field around everyone but Tyson couldn’t get to the barrier in time, he rammed Slumbering Legacy into the ground to keep him from getting pulled in but the pull was getting stronger as the hole grew in size.
“TYSON, YOU MUST NOT BE PULLED INTO THE VORTEX! IT IS A TEAR IN THE FABRIC OF TIME, EVERYTHING THAT IS PULLED INTO IT ISN’T DESTROYED, IT AGES INTO DUST!!!” Ignitus yelled. But Tyson couldn’t hold on much longer but then he felt his sword pulsate then he heard the voice of an old man say to him, “The powers of the purple dragon are limitless, his potential endless. Even the ability to control time itself is within the realm of the purple dragon’s powers.” Tyson knew that if this isn’t stopped, everything, all of existence will be aged into oblivion, his sword was still pulsing as if it was telling him what he must do. He looked at Cynder actually trying to wrestle out of Rick and Richard’s grip to keep her from leaving the barrier to try and save him, and then he knew what to do.
He pulled his sword out of the ground and let the time rift pull him in, Cynder saw him say something to her but the roar of the rift drowned it out as she screamed at him, “Tyson, you IDIOT!!!!” Tyson twisted and with just a fraction of a fraction of a second thrusts his sword into the center of the rift his power clashing with the rift, as the seconds pass Tyson is aging faster and faster, becoming an old man before letting one last roar. A massive shockwave riddled the city, shattering all windows and breaking apart the ground. It was enough to break the barrier but thankfully the rift was gone, out of the cloud Tyson slowly floated to the ground glowing white.
“Tyson…” Cynder said as he slung his sword over his back and slowly turned around.
“Well, that wasn’t so hard now was it?” Tyson said as he turned around still as young as ever and just as smug. As he started to walk forward the huge statue of the mayor crumbled and fell forward, Cynder screamed to warn him. Tyson looked up and the world began to flash gray around him and just only 2 inches away from his face the statue stopped cold, just hovering about him. Tyson poked the statue and it bobbed up a little and he continued walking pushing chunks of stone out of the way and as he got to where Cynder was standing time resumed and the statue crashed to the ground.
“Heh, I can stop time now, cool. I’ll call this the ‘TimeMaster’ style. Time to go home, Cynder.” He said.
