I take a lot from old 80s anthro-themed anime such the "Grimm Fairy Tales" series by Nippon animation, or Sherlock Hound... but also non-anthro anime, still from 70s/80s :)

Heh, never actually want to feel old but that feeling stopped being an optional feature for some of us quite a while ago!
Just looking at the can it seemed not to have the rounded corners on the opening like a ring pull can did but looked more like the sharp triangular corners the puncture openers would give you. That said, by the early 70s it was rare to not have a ring pull.
