The convoy was just beginning to form, the merchant navy vessels gathering in the shelter of a mainland bay. Gradually, as more and more vessels arrived, their captains started to notice that there wasn't a single escort among them! Fearing some sort of mixup, the front ship radioed in his concerns, questioning the tardiness of their supporting warships. The response that he got was confusing to say the least -a woman's voice, quite out of breath and with the sound of a terrific amount of splashing nearly drowning her out. "I'll be with you in one moment captain, I'm so sorry for the hold up but I found a Uboat in the St Lawrence and had to set things straight before I came down!"
Just as he was about to reply, the captain spotted a colossal form barreling around the northern edge of the bay -with what looked like two metallic grey arms pulling it forward, and a prow-like head scything through the water, mostly obscured by the waves, foam and spray kicked up by it's approach. He looked on with a mixture of apprehension and excitement: he'd never had a 'Morph fighting machine escort his convoys, having only seen them in the newsreels, and didn't know if he was quite prepared to collaborate with one during such an important mission.
There was a collective gasp from the bridge as the titaness got into range and finally stood upright, the water sloughing off her metal skin in great sheets, coursing down her slick, curvaceous structure. The captain didn't know why they always turned out this way, but he wasn't about to kick up a fuss. With hands on generous hips, their monstrous escort gazed down at the fleet before her, casting a fair portion of the tiny vessels into shadow.
"Oh goodness I really am late aren't I -you're all already here!" Her eye twitched momentarily as she checked her internal timepiece. "So sorry again for keeping you waiting, His Majesty's Canadian Ship Haida at your service." With what she assumed to be a disappointed radio silence being maintained for a good 30 seconds, she hastily continued. "No need to worry now that I am here though -you're looking at the pride of the North Atlantic, no one's foundered more subs than me, and I've even tussled with a wolf pack or two of U-morphs!" She struck her best pose, flexing an ill-defined but still respectable bicep.
"No, no need to worry at all..."
-So this is my first foray into non-axoltzyn content and was wondering what everyone thinks? Should I stick to the space lizards or branch out into more avenues, including morphs as above, and the Venerable UNI race, which I started with over on DeviantArt?

Honestly, I loved ever single one of your multi-mile towering lizards covering the world below them in the shadow of their breasts <3...And then growing bigger!
But you're the artist here so you have the freedom to choose whatever you want draw, I'm just a simple watcher.
(I mean I do like gigantic UNI, either from you or from 'Colonel-Gabbo' on DA, they're fun too!)
(It's just.....well, I like scales more :/)

Glad to hear you like the Axoltzyn and assorted giant serpents! (All Dummy thicc of course) They are quickly becoming my favourites but I'm trying to be careful not to stagnate, hence the other stuff as well!
But as a watcher and lover of scales, feel free to note me about any ideas or things you would like to see! Getting a feel for what the crowd wants on this site is one of my ongoing goals!

Well, the things I like typically would be about gentle scalies carefully handling the civilization below her, OR a mischievous scalies assorting authority over an invasive army (Both would be thicc).
But then again I'm only a single watcher who saw you ask a question and I just wanted to leave a reply (Though oddly enough, I was the first one to post an answer). But if your aim is to see what people want in this site then you may post a journal and ask your question there (I mean it's worth a shot right?). And perhaps if you told them to look at your DA gallery they might like that stuff more.

Object morphs are a little too weird for me; I'd rather you stick to scalies and aliens.
Maybe you could use smaller species of grass skinks and make them even bigger or give them size shifting tech?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skink
I'm not sure how widely used that specific subcategory of lizard is.

Aight, that works!
I do so enjoy learning to render them silky smooth scales -and speaking of scales, Xotoli is at least is bound to get more attention, and get much bigger... (plus size-shifting tech is in the pipeline for canon Axoltzyn stuff so don't you worry -there's going to be plenty of quick outgrowing at every size!)
But skinks have been mentioned, and you know what that means:
