just a thought: Photography feels like a weird art some days. When I'm editing pictures, it feels like I need to do more. Import > color balance > Crop > exposure adjustments > minor touchups > export. When you list it out, its a handful of steps, but when compared to painting or drawing... it feels too simple. I guess a lot of the work comes when you're holding the camera. If you take a good picture, its less work on the editing. But that also feels simple. Spin some dials to adjust the exposure > make sure the subject is in focus > click the button that does the picture. But I guess that just ignores the training that tells you what dials need spun, and where you should be standing to get the shot, and where the light should be, and how the subject should be posed. But most days that doesn't take any thought at all and makes me feel like what I'm doing is easy to the point of not being a skill.

...anyway. Scout is a good pup.
