So, as I was talking about in my last journal (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1241458/) I have had, over the course of a couple of months, a series of experiences that could be classified as a lot of things, and I'm still not quite sure what, exactly, they are, but they more or less center around me being "plugged in", sometimes at strange times, to "god" or the "cosmic unconsciousness", or "the Logos" or my "Holy guardian angel", or the "Great White Brotherhood", or whatever you want to call it.
For a more in depth explanation of what that is all about, read the journal.
So after the mushroom trip a few weeks ago that inspired me to do that journal, and to draw this. I had just re-read all of my Phillip K. dick books, with the exception of VALIS, which I lend to a friend. I took elements of most of the ones I read or have (VALIS, The Divine Invasion, the transmigration of Timothy Archer, and The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch) and incorporated them into this, which explains why this drawing is strange. I was kind of going for the whole creepy sci-fi illumination that Phillip K. Dick incorporates in his books.
Here's what the drawing is about.
First off the mechanical eyes, steel jaw and mechanical arm are from The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch, and in fact, if you read the book, you'll find that they are the three stigmata of Palmer Eldritch. As to why a future cosmic billionaire Like P.E. has these appendages, and what he has to do with the topic of contact with God, among a lot of other things, you'll have to find out in the book.
The location where all of this is taking place is in a wadi (canyon/dry riverbed) in Qumran, West Bank. A friend noted that it looked a lot like the mountains where we meditate a lot, Papago peaks in AZ here, which is also the place where the initial "bizarre occurrence" took place that lead me into all this. That wadi in qumran is also where they found the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Zadokite Document, it is also where the man who P.K.D. based the charachter Timothy Archer on died of exposure while looking for proof that the basis of Christianity was based on a sect of Essenes (mystic Jews from around 200b.c.) eating mushrooms to experience God firsthand. This is also covered more in the journal I mentioned earlier.
The satellite beaming cosmic information into the head of the fox, of course, represents VALIS, the name P.K.D. gives the force that he (and I, and a lot of people) have come into contact with. In the Book (and hopefully movie here soon) Radio Free Albemuth, VALIS appears as a satellite sent by aliens and/or god (I haven't read it yet, so I can't say for sure) that beams information to dissidents fighting a tyrannical president.
VALIS, the book, on the other hand is probably one of the greatest sci-fi books ever written, and it will completely change the way you look at things.
The hebrew words (both in hebrew and in latin letters) are all different names of God. The inscription is the Tetragrammaton, YHWH. HAYAH means "I am what I am", EHYEH ASHER EHYEH was the name that God gave to Moses when asked for his name. The phrase is also mentioned in the Keys of Enoch as the process YHWH sends his divine presence down into the material world, which is more or less what VALIS does. It is a vehicle of god, so to speak. The Merkabah, as some call it. the phrase is both in English and in Hebrew in the drawing.
Just, you know, so you know, I'm not getting religious or any of that shit, but i believe that as far as spirituality and "occultism" are concerned, I've hit on something huge. which makes sense, since we have now entered the most important period of all of our lives, and everyone is evolving. People are waking up to their own potential and if I can help them do that in my own little way, then that's what I'm going to do. Because the shit that's going on in the world requires people to know this stuff. The things that are going to come out this year and in the next several will completely change your reality, and you need to be ready. The old world is dead. How are you going to affect the new one?
Oh, and I also realized that I never explained the fox. You might just think that since this is a furry art site, and that I claim on the internet to be a fox, that it just sort of is expected.
This is true, but false.
PKD also provided the fox, as mentioned on pg. 23 of the Divine Invasion, where God makes a bizarre joke at the expense of one of the main characters, Herb Asher, on a planet orbiting the star CY30/CY30-B. I also just realized that Herb Asher's last name comes from "Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh". Ah, synchronicity... :3
Anyway the exchange goes like this (the context of which you'll know if you've read the book):
"You are with the Fox," she declared, "and the Fox is with you." She pinned him with her gaze, the hard, bright eyes. The diamond face, feral and wise, feral and true; this is the Fox / Speaking to you. He smiled back.
"Hi, Fox," he said.
"Your behind." the Fox said.
So after not drawing any of my "detailed" and "meaningful" art in a long time, I'm happy to be working on something along the line of these again:

And one more thing. if you think this is all a bunch of bullshit, then be advised that the things I talk about in my drawings, such as the "Illuminati" and "enlightenment" references, and gnosticism, alchemy, kaballah, secret societies, and all that stuff, are all coming out now in mass and pop culture.

Why they managed to make the single most transcendental music video of all time is beyond me, and is definitely a good sign that 2012 is on it's way. :3

According to the mythos, yes. But the mythos is just that; a mythos. What you really have are two "illuminaties", one dark, left hand path "illuminati" (NWO, etc.), and a Light, right hand path "Illuminati". How can one even be a novice in the occult world without recognizing the necessity for duality? It's like the Illuminatus! trilogy, Discordians vs. the illuminati.
The fact is, there are these secret evil cabals that are plotting for world takeover, but they will not succeed because there are people out there who know the same tricks and techniques as they do, in some cases even moreso, and who know enough to know how karma works. This has always been the case.
We all know what happens to people who are too arrogant or stupid to invoke something they can't banish. The "illuminati" are really more like the sorcerer's apprentice than they are high adepts.

I'm always curious to see people doing interpretations of whatever sort of mythic or religious symbology, be it reworks of tarot cards, reallocated animal totemism or whatever. None of it is my cup of tea, but it seems to be a thing that folks will occasionally put a great deal of thought into how they illustrate.

I'm witnessing this on the first full moon of Spring, as if she absorbed all the powers of the Equinox and are now beaming it down on us.
I am going to honest with you, perhaps a bit frighteningly so. While I began having visions of the desert haunt me maybe a couple of years ago, and what feels like creatures of the desert visit me, (always the sound of the desert wind. and the sound of bells.) it just began to culminate more and more, never leaving me. As all the disparate realities begins to overlap, the pull of the Higher Self and the voice of the desert begins to appear to be the same force and signal. I see what's posted here and I feel the ignition. Its all coming together. I'm finally arriving to my friend's house in Phoenix next week, and I really hope I get to meet you, and it would be wonderful if you could point me in the direction of Papago Peaks, and share anything else you have to share. I don't know what else to tell you other than this is my experience right now, presently and fully, not just some fantastical distraction my brain is scratching itself with, this feels like some kind of initiation.
May we share Gnosis, friend. My small self is petrified!
