Some idiot decided it was a good idea to drive his boat over the flooded 101 bridge. He probably thought he was clever, or thought it was funny. Amusing as it is for the rest of us, I was informed by the watching MN DOT employee that crossing that bridge in a powered boat carries a VERY steep fine; far worse then hopping over that barrier. Reason is pretty obvious: See all those trees? Easy to easy to get the boat tangled in them, in addition to the variable depth and current of the water. His lower unit takes a chunk out of or gets stuck on the bridge, the moron is responsible.
Flagged as Opossum as there is no Lemming category for stupidity.
This is also a great reference picture for the flood from a few days ago. Remeber before only a tiny section of this road was underwater? Now the entire second bridge, plus some has gone under, water deep enough for someone to daredevil a powerboat across it.

169 has not got shut down, if 169 gets shut down for flooding I think most of Shakopee and Eden Prairie would be FULLY SUBMERGED XD.
You are probably thinking of 47. Highway 47 is closed too. The old 212 which intersects with 101 is going to be shut down tomorrow. Scary thing is they said it hasn't crested yet. They pushed the crest date back from Tuesday to Thursday now.
