Dragons in the Friendship is Magic franchise are known to be greedy, obnoxious, and generally rude. Spike's upbringing, however, mitigates these three stereotypes as he's been raised by a specially gifted unicorn with the magic of magic at her disposal. If you ask me, he's more of a helper minion though.
