DCS 145th PMC Group 'WildDogs' FA18C Skin
So, I recently got into Digital Combat Simulator (DCS), and my friend Kiruno picked me up the F/A-18C while it was on sale. So far, I haven't been disappointed. This screencap was taken just after I managed to successfully land on a Carrier, which I managed on the second try (do not rely on the E-bracket for that task by the way), with the first try being a simple go-round as I was too high to even touch the deck. The second try I managed to put'er down on the deck and trapped on the second wire. For those wondering, yes, this is also a custom skin that I made for the FA18C, especially for the campaign me and a few others are starting soon.
If you are interested in joining our campaign, please note we are running a modded server, and you will need those mods to join (links below). This skin is optional, but you are free to download it if you ever want to fly with me and see me in colors other than the stock skin.
The the colors are a three-tone green scheme with a winged-wolf logo on the tail. The "WK" on the tail is the tail code for "Wake Island", the base of the StrayDogs PMC group, which the WildDogs are part of.
Our first mission is scheduled for this Thursday at 6pm US Central Time, and you will need to be in the UFEF Discord in order to join, no exceptions. This campaign is a PVE Campaign, and the story will be given during the briefings.
Our aircraft and roles are as follows for those wanting to join"
F-15C Eagle: Air Superiority
F/A-18C Hornet: Multi-Role and SEAD
F-16C Fighting Falcon: Short-range Multi-role
F-14B Tomcat: Long range Air Superiority and Heavy Ground Attack
Mirage 2000C: Short range interception
Su-25T Frogfoot: Close Air Support and Anti-Ship
We have four of each aircraft available, and anyone who owns those planes can hop into one if there's an open slot. However, since we're working for a client state, we are working alongside other aircraft in our campaign that are controlled by the AI such as the F-15C, F-5E, S-3B, FA-18C, and P-51D (playing the role of Super Tacanos until the real one is added). Our client for this campaign is using mostly British and German made ground weapons, and hired us to help train their air force, and help them with COIN operations (in ArmA).
If you have DCS or ArmAIII and wish to join our campaign, please join our Discord: https://discord.gg/WfjSe3t
If you opt to join our DCS Campaign, you will need the Civilian Aircraft Module: https://cam.em-key.de/ and the Civilian Object Mod: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=224413. Please note, if the first link does not work for you, use this one: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3268436&postcount=89
If you want to download the skin above so that you can see me (or anyone else using it) in DCS Servers, just download it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mn.....MER5oJ-wK/view
Texture is by me, and the game is © Eagle Dynamics.
See you guys in the skies!

Happened to see your post on the frontpage. Cool to see some DCS love!
I have a Warthog HOTAS and a TrackIR rig sitting in the closet, quietly reminding me of how quick I used to be able to cold-start the A-10C. Would love to have a little more time to get back into DCS and get some flying in.
Have fun :)

Well, you're in luck, I've formed a new group specifically for DCS, and we don't have a commitment requirement like so many others do. Just join our discord here: https://discord.gg/68HXUSkz7H
Well, in that case, there's a perfect module for you called "Flaming Cliffs 3", it's a normally $50 module, and it grants you access to 9 air frames (A-10A, F-15C, Su25A, Su27, Su33, J-11, Mig29A, Mig29G, and Mig29S). All of which are very simple to learn as they tend to not have clickable cockpits, and their systems are fairly basic. But if you're really wanting to sink your teeth in, or know someone who is, check out this trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQ5T8P1qJGs
