Despite the ooze, it's a really good game. The fact that to level up you have to run through dungeons imbues a sense of progress that you don't get when your just killing thousands of mushrooms.

Yeah, it's a good game. However, I've been spoiled by WoW and games like WoW. I would have liked this game a hell of a lot more if there was an open world. Also, it's great that the game tries to take the emphasis off of grinding to get experience, but I kind of don't like the way that killing monsters is almost worthless. I could kill a thousand kobolds, and all they'd drop are a few idols or teeth or something that I trade in for one stack of arrows.
