Ugh. I know right?! If they would admit it earlier instead of having Certo and his twin die and Crona live the next 20 years in misery until she goes back in time and throws Certo through a time portal to the point where Crona is arguing with the chronicler. They don't even say it. Like, they don't say, "I love you" to each other at all. You just automatically assume that they say it when Certo recovers.
