Drawing of a kangaroo from a picture that accompanied a poem in Ten Ever-Lovin' Blue-Eyed Years With Pogo. The poem, arbitrarily titled ``Dixies is the land I love'', is about a person meeting a mustache that's grown on a kangaroo for some reason. The most important part here is that in fiddling around with the marker pen settings I'm getting closer to a line that I like: width of 10%, taper of 25%, something called aspect of 50%, smoothing of 20%, and a rounded head, which altogether gives a line that isn't horrible. Also, antialiasing turned off for things like the umbrella, which can be flood-filled, with outlines then traced out antialiased so the working edges are smooth. That pocket chain had me defeated for a while until I realized I had to stop thinking about it and just study the lines Kelly drew and imitate them, and the result was very distinctly okay. I have not the faintest idea what 'aspect' is and I can't find any help file that says, but it seems to make the lines look different somehow.
