One of my few attempts at proper wildlife photography while at Fountains Abbey last year on holiday. Went to the deer park and managed to get up close to this guy, and then zoomed in with my 70-300mm Tamron lens.

Speaking as a deer myself, and one who lives quite close to The Abbey..well in the same county...I say: "well captured." :)

Nice to see that lens can take good pix- I have the same type, but it doesn't seem to to do as well. Perhaps because it's old- I dunno. Beautiful stag you caught there!
