I know that it's only a doodle, but I'll point this out anyways:
When a hinged part of the body -- an arm, a leg, even a torso -- blocks itself along the same plane, as the left forearm and upper arm do here, it not only seems visually ambiguous, but also constricted and stiff. It takes a bit of life out of the drawing.
Please don't hesitate to practice with big, dramatic gestures: as you learn to pose figures, as your understanding increases, you can always begin to tone things down for a more subtle, naturalistic approach.
