Hey everyone! Here are my characters again, still in development of course but I'm getting the feeling for them at least.
The story behind this is that this boy's parents were killed while camping out in the wilderness, but before the wolves could get to the boy, the bear shaman appeared and saved his life. Now the boy have nowhere else to turn to, so he confronted the beast (it's not exactly common with anthropomorphic bears) and he took him in. The bear was once a man however, but due to some unfortunate events years ago... he's kinda stuck the way he is. The only remnant he has left from his past is the dog that still remains loyal to him, despite his new appearance. And his wedding ring he now carries in a strap around his wrist (since he can't wear it on his fingers any longer for obvious reasons).
The boy however - in this image a bit older than my previous image - was happy to gain a fatherly figure and the bear learns him the ways of shamanism.
Still not happy with the picture quite but it's still better than the old image ("A Story to be Told"). I slacked off with the colouring so I worked around a paper-texture, but hey it looks quite decent so it'll have to do.
Leave a comment if you have any feedback on either the story or the image!
