This dragon may have some scars, but it sure looks like he isn't afraid to pick up a fight with anyone at anytime again...
Please enjoy this finished A5-scenery commission I was allowed to draw for a user on another platform! Featuring Thorn, his main character, showing off before battle! Judging by the scenery possibly a boss-battle... cue the dramatic music!
I had so much fun with working on the lightning here, all the harsh contrasts from the purple fire and the bright lightning strikes in the background was really something I never drew before but am very pleased with how the overall drawing turned out in the end >3<
I hope you guys had a great weekend so far, sadly my vacation days will be coming to an end tomorrow and I'll go back to working at least 8 hours a day. That means I most likely will have less time to draw again, but was able to prepare quite some things over the course of the last week and will try to keep posting/working on commissions as often as I can. And thank you so much yet again for your beyond kind words, I myself am lost for them while reading through your well-written and so thought out comment, brightening my evening like a star, shining in the nightsky.
I'll keep challenging and pushing myself to create more traditional art for as long as I can, hopefully bringing others some of that joy and delight you took the time to spell out in words, thank you for that 💙
