But hey, it's good for conflict and drama!
Not that we condone it, just a plot device.

One of the reasons I love this comic. So many other furry comics I've seen treat it like it's no big deal, or it's just accepted everywhere. Having at least one kingdom that sees it as a hanging offense makes things much more interesting. And realistic, because let's face it, there's always going to be cultures where that sort of thing is frowned upon, whether you agree with it or not.

Does make me worry that one of them is gonna end up in a noose though. One little slip-up, one peek at their private times, and it all goes to shit real fast. Hell, I'm expecting Kyler to end up with the group after him and Joel get found out, running to escape the gallows. 'Course, you might find a different reason, maybe a better one, but trying to stay alive after breaking the anti-sodomy laws? Pretty good incentive to vamoose and join up on a quest that takes you waaaaaaay out of the country. At the least, the rest of the group would be able to defend him if need be.

I guess time will tell how and why he joins up with the others. I look forward to seeing more of the comic soon.
