Shade: “Having a pupil is certainly a...learning experience, to say the least.” he gives a bit of a chuckle. “Never thought I of all people would be really cut out to teach someone the ways of magic, but what can I say. Something about Cheryl struck a chord with me. Maybe it was the fact she called me ‘master’ right off the bat...yeah yep that was probably part of it.” He laughed. “She’s a cutie though, with a lot of untapped potential I can sense in her. Her mana stores might even rival mine someday, if she can learn control. Which, I’m trying to help with” He chuckles. “It’s been a process, her old teachers gave her the knowledge more on ‘restraint’ instead of control. Just bury your power and don’t let anyone see it. I mean in this day and age with magic seeming to be more of a lost art form, I can see the logic in that. But one cant learn to understand their gift if they never learn to control it.” he sighed. “But with what her ‘catalyst’ was for her powers I guess I can understand them wanting to keep that from happening again… but whatever. That was then, now she’s under my wing, quite literally.” he snickered, giving his still fresh feeling wings a flap. “And I intend on making sure she learns all she needs to! She’s already making pretty good progress, a few lessons in and she’s already holding a fireball in her hand without singing our fur! Now it’s just a matter of using it...do hope she waits to try and throw it through this ring until after I move...maybe I best be moving before I finish…” gives a nervous snicker and prepares a ward just in case.

Motyloch with my Shade (for once) helping his Cheryl get the hang of some magic spells! She seems to be catching on well enough, but she still has a longgg way to go. But that's fine, not everyone can get the knowladge of many ancestral mages implanted into there mind by a random book they found on the ground x3 snickers heavily. Turned out looking rather nice though, and we both love the outfit she put Cheryl in ^^ looks super cute on her. Happy to be helping him break in the new char and account, though he seems to be doing a mighty fine job all his own ;3 heheeh.
