Well, the first poem is kick ass, and is top notch. Symbolism defined is tricky, for it depends on cultural enculterization, vs. semantic common trends and themes that diffuse and shift over time. Meaning thus is truly determined by enculterated perspective. It has or can have a lot of meaning to it. Thus, is it good symbolism and prescribed meaning for it can fit multiple perspectives and meanings with much attention to your work. It also does not try to fit any mold of a important older symbol form that usually results in backlash hurting a work. Yet, through this new perspective can older symbol forms be realized but not ruined.

VERY nice job on the first poem, love the concealed meaning within. Such a clever way to introduce a new character, can't wait to read more
