Today, I try out a vulture. Sarcophagus MacAbre is one of the more fun minor Pogo characters and you'll notice I'm making not any attempt at all in reproducing his word balloons. (The version of ArtRage on my iPad does not make lettering easy or at all pleasant, never mind styled lettering.) This art is not from a daily strip, but rather an illustration accompanying the poem The Prince of Pompadoodle. The original also has a castle in the background, which I'd have done if I had more time. Anyway, vultures are great and there should be more of them around.
