Okay, okay, I know that I mentioned before that Darrell was going to be my last character. But then my friend
metalexveemon came along and presented me with a cute idea of married couple, Jason and Tyson Edwards adopting a dingo puppy. I couldn’t refuse that idea, and thus Jackson came along.
Here are his portrait and fun facts, similar to all of my other characters.
1. Jackson is currently 4 years old. He was adopted at the age of three and a half.
2. He was originally called ‘Baby John Doe’. But a nurse named him ‘Jackson’. And everyone referred to him by that name from then on.
3. Jackson did not have a happy start to life. He was left at the orphanage doorstep in the middle of the night. He was only 3 days old. His real parents were never found. He had to be nursed by the caretakers. He didn’t learn to walk and talk until he was 2. And being the youngest one at the orphanage, he was often teased and called a ‘runt’. They rarely let him play with anyone else. Therefore Jackson was often alone. Also despite being very cute, no one was interested in adopting him. Other kids were chosen over him. That is until he finally got his big break. During a special police benefit at the orphanage (which Tyson was involved in, and his husband Jason was just there for support), Jackson first met Jason. Jason noticed that while all of the other kids were playing and having fun, Jackson was sitting all alone just looking at a book. Jason wasn’t too fond of kids, but he went over and sat by Jackson. Jason noticed the book Jackson was looking at was a book, which was part of a series, that Jason loved reading as a young cub. Since Jackson couldn’t read, Jason read the book to him. Thus a bond was made. They were later joined in by Tyson. They talked, play games together, and ate together. This went on for a week during the benefit. But after benefit, they said their goodbyes, which was very upsetting to Jackson and Jason. So much that Jason became depressed. After a few days, Tyson finally had a serious talk with Jason about expanding their family by adopting Jackson. Jason loved the idea. Then after a few weeks of background checks, the orphanage officially gave Jackson to Jason and Tyson as their adopted son. It was the happiest day of Jackson’s life. A few days later he was given a BIG ‘Welcome Jackson’ party. Jackson got many gifts, and even got aunts and uncles with the Edwards’ friends.
4. Jackson was born around the same time when Jason and Tyson got married.
5. Jackson never really thought about who his real parents were. He didn’t care about them too much because he already two of the best fathers ever. Though Jason did admit to Tyson only that he wants to meet Jackson’s parent in person, just so he can beat them up for abandoning Jackson.
6. Jackson never knew about Jason’s criminal history, nor any of the kinky stuff Jason and Tyson do together. Jason and Tyson never wanted him to know.
7. Jackson was illiterate when adopted. But thanks to Jason, Jackson was reading and writing better than anyone when he finally started school. Jackson was so smart that the teachers insisted that he skip a few grades. However, Jason and Tyson did not favor that idea because they wanted Jackson remain with kids his age and his friends, and take school one grade at a time.
8. Although Jackson has two fathers, he sees Jason sort of as his mother figure because he’s more close to him, and Tyson as his father. He calls Jason ‘father’, and Tyson ‘daddy’.
9. Jackson doesn’t like storms, they scare him. He often seeks comfort with his fathers, or the adult he’s with. At night during storms, he’ll often go into his fathers' room and sleep between them.
10. Jackson has a little crush on Christine. Christine thinks Jackson is the cutest puppy ever and often giving him big hugs. Others joke with Darrell saying he has competition with a 4 year old pup.

So sweet and cute and tiny. x3 He looks like he's sitting on a bar in a jungle gym.
I'm surprised that Jackson calls Jason "Father", since that's the most formal of paternal names, and Jackson is closer to Jason. I would have guessed, in that case, that Jason would be called "Daddy," since that's a more intimate name.
As for Tyson, I would have guessed he'd be "Pop" or "Papa."

Aww, that's cute. x3
I suppose, but consider this: to 4-year-old Jackson, both of his parents would seem really old. So it actually makes sense to call one of them "Pop." Also, did you ever read The Berenstain Bears, and how the dad was called "Papa Bear"? Or have you ever heard of the trope "Papa Wolf", which can apply to fathers of all ages?
So yeah. I still recommend changing it to where Jason is "Daddy" and Tyson is either "Pop" or "Papa."

Good! Thanks. :D Also, I'm reminded of this really old cartoon I saw as a kid. It was a short about Tom Thumb. It started off with his mother (who's a normal-sized lady) walking in with Baby Tom in her hand, presenting him to her husband (who's a normal-sized man).
Baby Tom Thumb looks up at his dad, and goes, "Hi, Pop!"
The dad goes, "'Pop'?" And then he faints, both from realizing he's now a father, and that his son is the size of a thumb. xD
And I just imagined Jackson calling Tyson "Pop" for the first time, and the wolf gets super emotional and has to excuse himself ("I can't cry in front of my son!"). x3
