the block of text on the lower right isn't meant to be any specific language, it's not translated into anything. however i did take words or make words sound very similar to a mix of what i knew of german and icelandic. generally the languages and cultures of the world this takes place in are very similar to a lot of ones in our own, but different enough so that it's not exactly a replica of it. there are also some things that don't really parallel anything we know, either.
