I've been making wands simi professionally for a number of years now, and, as you might expect, that has led me to amass a bit of a collection of my own. But as fond as I am of all of them, this one will always be special. The piece of wood it's made from came to me at a very low point in my life, it quite literally hit me over the head! (long story) But as soon as I saw it, I knew what it was meant to be. Ever since that day, this has been the wand I use in practically all my workings. Even on the rare occasion of that I choose another for some specialist undertaking, this wand's place of honor on my alter will never be contested.

Thank you so much! The main body of the wand is a simple stick that naturally grew into a spiral as the result of a parasitic vine growing around it. (It was quite a find!) The point is a quartz crystal point, you can find them in any new age or rock collector's/ mineral enthusiast shop or website. Energetically, quartz acts as a natural amplifier, hence the old crystal radio sets. It's a great stone to work with, because you can use it for absolutely anything! I like to say quartz is the duct tape of the witch's toolbox! The quartz point and the lapis lazuli cabochon at the opposite end (it doesn't really show up in the photo) are fastened to the wand with suede leather cord and a bit of extra strength epoxy.
