What's that in your hand?
Back at me; I have it.
It's an oyster with two tickets to that thing you love.
Now look again, the tickets are now diamonds.
Anything is possible when you smell like Old Spice and not a lady.
I'm on a horse.

So this was a doodle in french class that ended up being a full fledged pencil sketch XD
The progress of this birdie here is a strange one indeed. It started with a little doodle of his head in the margin of my french notes ("c'est vs. il/elle est"). I was like, hey, that's cool, and so I started drawing his body.
Originally, he was hanging off of a sign that said "NO LOITERING" and the text said "C'est Paul. Il est un maverick"
When my classmate Edgar saw it, he said, "You should put him on a boat." I thought he was talking about The Lonely Island's "I'm On A Boat," so I gave him the big sunglasses and a nautical themed pashmina flag and changed the text to "Il est sur un bateau."
He told me later he was talking about this Old Spice ad that was shown during the super bowl, so I added "Old Spice" to the flag.
Oh yeah, this is a new character of mine, Paul. He's a blackbird. You'll be seeing a lot more of him pretty soon! He doesn't usually dress like this, however.
