"Cold and warm", "The master and his pet", "Alive and undead", "Skin on metal"..... as you may be able to tell, I had quite a few titles in my mind for this particular drawing... but in the end had to settle with just one... feel free to pick which title you prefer! ;3;
I've been excited for days on end to post this finished commission I was allowed to draw for
Alphyron of his dragon character together with his pet-snake! Since his character hasn't been drawn in his full mechanical form before, I got to design most of the parts and had a blast (no pun intended) with it! I really tried to bring out the different textures this drawing portrays, from the cold metal pieces, over the hair, to the soft scales of the snake. I'm especially satisfied with them, if you zoom in, you can see each individual one even!
I honestly couldn't be happier with how this turned out. I'm looking forward to work on more detailed drawings like this in the future and hope I can soon test new mixed medias to try to bring my art onto its next level 💙
