Applespike, I don't see much of this shipping in the fandom really. I tried splitting the difference between the age/form I did for Spike in the previous two images I did for this pairing. I also tried to get closer, but not too close to how he looks at the end of the series. I don't really like the look they gave him for the finale. Every other dragon we see in the show around that age group is gangly and long legged. They made him this short legged body builder with a chin that would make Jay Leno jealous.

Unfortunatley no, the only inter-species romance that happens in show is Yona and Sandbar, yak + pony. Though it is teased that Fluttershy and Discord are romanticly attracted to each other, and there is an episode with Spike sorta going on a date with a griffon girl and then Rarity getting jealous so..... take that how you will.
