Hi, this is me(me) after just getting up. (it's so bright cause the sun was reflecting off the snow and into my window)
For some reason or the other, I like seeing people when they are off guard, when they're not made up for the world to see, and so I took a pic of myself like that. Bed hair (and way past time for a hair cut) and unshaven.

oy, so I ended up getting frost bite on the long ride today... in the space of 20 minutes, it dropped 20 degrees, and I had to use one of my socks for insulation somewhere else, so my foot got frost bite! jeez! well, another lesson learned, i guess... 0_0-

haha, no, it's just a bit discolored and aching now. A little frost bite never killed anyone - key word little - If it had gotten That bad, I would have flagged down a car, or walked up to a house (haha, my nihongo would have come in handy, the only house in the area belongs to a japanese family, and only their daughter speaks any english)
I really missed my sock though... but my bike shorts aren't insulated.... 0_0-

Yeah, I've known some older folks who've lost toes, but typically frost bite in this sort of area is either Freezerburn, or cold rash, which is where the outer skin is damaged and becomes really red and painful/itchy, or minimal penetration. If you get any worse, typically you don't make it to the er (because you, and your truck, have fallen to the bottom of a lake)
