Lions Pride High School was getting ready to host a school dance. All the students were helping get the gym ready during school hours, after school, the girls were trying to decide what dresses, lipgloss and nail polish to wear. The boys were trying to ask out the girls and getting tailored for their suits.

Caden was in the 9th Grade, same as Rhaena who he had a crush on. The dance was only a week away. Mustering his courage and holding a purple rose, Caden walked over to Rhaena, but was nervous to ask her to the dance. After saying her name, Caden quickly asked Rhaena to the dance.

Caden clinched his eyes shut. Worrying she would say no, but opened his eyes and looked at Rhaena, who was smiling, then hugged him. Caden heard Rhaena say it was about time he asked her. Caden smiled with relief.

One week later, Caden was standing outside Rhaenas home. He was wearing a light-gray two-piece suit with a double-breasted jacket, white shirt and designer tie. Caden knocked on the door and was greeted by Rhaenas parents Aerios and Kisenya, as well as her elder brother Aemor and sister Vikerya. Caden notice that Aemor and Vikerya were also well dressed for the dance.

Caden waited for Rhaena, then looked up the stairs to see Rhaena walking down the stairs, wearing a light-purple dress with a dark colored heels and a white beaded necklace. Kisenya took several pic of Caden and Rhaena together and got Aemor and Vikerya in the pics.

After the pics, they all got in the car and were driven to the school dance.
